Got a text a bit ago from Clearblue. For anyone here who may have taken part in their earlier study about the cycle monitor they are contacting to test some new pregnancy test. The best bit? I can still participate even being pregnant! Whee! :) I still have £20 left from the £50 vouchers I got last study.

  • Congrats sophiasmum and so glad everything is ok with your baby xxx
Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

    Maternity leave fund: £3000/£6000 :T
  • That sounds good mrstm I'm now going to go on a hunt to see if I can find any separate sign up links to that study - I haven't done anything for clearblue before though, so unlikely, but worth a shot - every little helps!

I received a text, so can't help you with finding info on it online. :( Wish I could!

Ooh I got that text Mrs_T_M I didn't reply straight away as I assumed I would be excluded. I've just replied. What did they say to you when you said you were already pregnant? Hope I can do it again. I love things like that and even better if I get more vouchers lol

    They replied:

Hi Emily, congratulations and thanks for your reply. With this study, you can still take part if you're pregnant. We're just looking for volunteers to use the pregnancy tests and answer some questions on your experience. If you are interested, then let me know. Many thanks.

    I replied 'yes please!'

    They replied back:
Thank you for replying, we will be in touch shortly.

At least they know that us pregnant ladies definitely know how a pregnancy test is supposed to do (not saying those who aren't pregnant don't!). :D

Good luck with the black tie dress Neverdespairgirl. Is it something you could borrow from friends?

I would if I could, trouble is, I can't think of anyone who would have a black-tie suitable maternity dress the right size for me. I'm sure you can buy them, but I can't think of anyone who might have got one.

I do have a phase 8 evening dress with some stretch in it, I hope that it'll have enough stretch to fit round a 6+ month me! And then put on some bling jewellery and so forth to try to distract attention (-:

Thanks mrs TM! I ignored the text but will text back now!

Now you've got me thinking though - I don't remember spending the vouchers! Hope I did & haven't lost them!

I remember they sent me like £20 of vouchers for doing this follow up phone call but the £50 ones were taking longer to come. I think they did in the end.. I can't remember spending either!
