Hello - sorry a tmi topic. Is anyone else suffering with constipation? Am desperate to get things moving as it where....any hints??

I was really suffering and tried lots of stuff. it didn't work so I asked my midwife and she recommended lactulose. you get it over the counter, it's just medicine. I took a spoonful a day for a week and it's really helped, it's so much better, I was getting horrible stomach ache from constipation.

I got some laculose I think its called from the Dr. I was really struggling a few weeks back. Now I spend much time on the toilet - but its because I keep leaking wee! Nothing I can do - its just baby and she can jump up and down on my bladder as much as she wants. :)

Well I am doing worse I am actually leaking wee sometimes. Its after I have been to the toilet, I stand up and more just falls out lol. I have been told it is just where the baby is led and this must be true as some days it doesn't happen. Makes me feel like an old lady at 28 lol x

Have you been eating weetabic? That could help, or failing that some prune juice! X

No, OH and I are both members of Middle Temple. This isn't an Inn event, strictly speaking, but it's being held at one of the Inns.

I treat it at home, since I've had the reaction so many times before when I was younger. Shower with 100% hypoallergenic stuff, towel dry, rub in the Benadryl gel (an antihistamine) anywhere my skin itches, let dry, get dressed in minimal clothing, take an allergy tablet (cetirizine hydrochloride, 10mg) and go to bed. Usually I'm fine by in the morning.

Well, DH reset the alarm to go off at 7:30 instead of 7 this morning, and we were in the bed by 8, asleep by 10 last night! Woke up 5 minutes before the alarm. Already made buckwheat American style pancakes (and ate all but two for breakfast between the two of us!), washed most of the dishes, brought the dirty laundry downstairs, and I'm starting to cook red kidney beans for chilli tonight! :) Hopefully this energy will stick around, I'm tired of being tired all of the time!

    Morning ladies,

Nothing much to report from me, except Im now 23 weeks

Next midwife appointment on 7th Feb

I dont really have a bump and not felt what Id call prooper movements so a bit worried.
Has anyone else not felt movement at this stage?

Scared of moving up to the next thread, makes it far to real!

Had a text from Mothercare yesterday saying the car seat and base has arrived, so can go and pick that up today or tomorrow

Have chosen the pram we're getting, but dont want to order it too early. Was thinking mid-March.
When are you all getting yours?
