Good luck for your scans tomorrow chelseablue, mrshappy, and mysecretalias
Hi Aquamarinemonkey any news from your combined screening yet? I wouldn't worry, as others have said if there was a problem they'd let you know quickly. We're collecting The Sun holiday vouchers too, but we don't have enough to book yet. It will be more glam than our holiday last year: 3 wet September nights on a waterlogged campsite in the Lakes
Have you booked a Sun holiday before and got a priority booking form? If you have there is a thread in the UK Holidays and Days Out section with all the codes on it. If not, there is another thread where people are putting their name down so people who have a priority code but aren't going to use it can give their code away.
I had a priority form but I wasn't buying the paper as the lovely people who post in that section are always nice enough to share the codes. Good luck, I hope you get something.
The Lake District is lovely, but I can imagine not much fun when waterlogged! Did you stay in a tent too? x0 -
I'm still half expecting to go for scan and just be laughed at for thinking there is a baby in there-despite having had 4 scans already, have heard the heartbeat several times and can feel movements. Time for me to take my crazy thoughts to bed I think!
good luck chelseablue and secrets x0 -
this is it: http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplay0_10751_-1_258408_10001
just really loved the colours (very country cottage which is what we are hoping to buy!) and it is very sturdy in the flesh. Note it doesn't come with the baskets though, there are gaps there so you need to buy baskets separately (or use those areas as storage shelves). You can also get a 1/2 price mattress if you buy this set (plus cashback through Quidco - very :money:) and the delivery was super quick (and free too).
I really hope you don't give birth to a fish!!!!!!!!!!:eek: Crazy what the hormones do to our brains isn't it?!?
Becs Ive just typed into google 'shelf for nursery' as I really wanted one, and one of the first results was this - which I swear matches the nursery furniture we've both bought so thought Id point it out to you!

Good luck to the 3 scan ladies
will be popping in for updates!
On the subject of sun hols I booked one too...I had a priority form and booked as soon as I had final code. Going to butlins and will be taking the new baby who will be aprox 6 weeks! Have always managed to breast feed so hoping everything goes to plan and its easy. Have been before and its fab for my two children and hassle free for mum abd and dad.
Aquamarine - I too am thinking july 2015 for an abroad hol - took both of mine at the 10-12 months mark.
Whats the youngest you would take a baby camping? ?0 -
Thanks Aquamarinemonkey I've never booked a Sun holiday before so no priority form. I haven't collected enough codes yet, I didn't know there was a section to share them on here and I've been buying all the papers  We have enjoyed doing the crosswords though!0

Are the sun holidays worth booking then, A lot of people here seem to be going on them, any recommendations?
Sophiasmum we were toying with butlins too, the only thing that was worrying me was that I don't know how long it will be safe for the baby to be in the water, our son likes to go in for a couple of hours usually! Also not sure if you're aware but you have to take your own cot bedding if you order a cot in your room x0 -
I'm delurking to say that we booked a Sun holiday at Butlins too this morning.
I'm hoping it won't be our main holiday so we've just done a weekend in July, but it looks nice. Although hubbie is most disappointed that it's coming up a lot more expensive than £9.50. :rotfl: It's actually a lot lot more when you book that late and it's actually £15 for a min of four people, add the service charge per night and entertainment passes per person. However it's a lot more booking direct for the same weekend. What was funny was having to pick the title and first initial of my team yellow baby.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Good luck to the ladies having scans today! Will be lurking for news if I get the time at work! Xx0
