Just laughed so hard a bit of pee came out!!!:rotfl:
That would be one epic starter kit though! Lol!
That sounded so funny as you were having a rant so you sounded so annoyed there was no child inside :rotfl:0 -
Hehe!! Yeah I mean for crying out loud since when did they take the kids out of their starter kits?! Don't they realise that's an integral part of the process?!!Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

good morning/afternoon
Hope everyone is having a good day, we are heading to my brothers for a belated Christmas as he spent it with his inlaws, so I'm really looking forward to seeing my niece and nephew.
My doppler arrived this morning, so we had a listen as you do. It took a few minutes for hubby to find the heartbeat, but he got there eventually, which was nice, very reassuring especially as I have been having horrible dreams lately.0 -
Mrshappy that must have been so reassuring, I am still in two minds about whether to get one, if I can't find the heartbeat it'll cause me to panic and OH, knowing whatim like, has therefore banned me from getting one!Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

I really dithered about getting one, for that reason, it was nice to hear, but I would have been panicking if we hadn't managed to find it0

How far along are you? Did they not offer you the quad test too?
Thanks Claire. That's made for interesting reading. I'll ask husband to read it to make sense of it for me!
Humm, no they didn't offer anything other than amniocentcis.
According to Pregnology I'm 13.5 weeks. The test is on wednesday next week, when she said i'd be 15 weeks... (I dont understand that either!)

Did they say why they didnt recommend the private blood tests?
I think thats what Id do in your situation as Id be way too scared of an amnio. Its such a horrible position to be put in. There is no right or wrong choice of course.
A friend had an amnio the other day and thankfully got the all clear and no problems. I guess youve got until Wednesday to decide.0 -

Hey guys, hope I have posted up the most up to date list. Ill have a double check just incase I haven't. Had my 20 week scan today and it turns out we are having a baby girl!! I can't believe it.
It was pretty amazing seeing how the baby had developed from 12 weeks. Although unfortunately she was moving so much the midwife just wasn't able to do all the checks she needed to get done. As a result we have to go back in a couple of weeks to be rescanned. As a way of trying to send her to sleep she had us walk around for 20 minutes but because of needing the loo soooooo much this really wasn't the easiest of things to do lol.
Hope everyone is having a good New Years Eve!! xx0
