Pomme I stopped being sick at 21 weeks, nausea is still here at 28 and I did throw up yesterday out of the blue. However I has very bad sickness so you probably won't get it for as long.
The whole second trimester burst of energy/feeling better thing certainly never happened for me - I kept waiting, never happened now I'm 3rd trimester and well into the aches & pains!
I think someone makes this stuff up lol0 -

Very hurtful to be called a troll especially after ive been using this site for so long and having been part of the pregnancy community too.
Samtoby I hope your scan goes well x
It's because it's hard to believe someone could actually try for a baby then decide to just give it away because of its gender. Who does that?! 50/50 isn't a small possibility it's basic maths.0 -
Mrs TM how did telling your family in America go?0

Mary I have some experience of where your coming from re abuse etc but for me that's where the experience stops. I would give anything to join this board, we have been ttc for many years now and just had our 7 th medicated cycle fail.i could never imagine wanting to give up my baby for anyone despite having previous bad experiences. You are one very lucky lady to have not only child a but another on the way. Many of us struggle for years and never get the chance to be a mum and IMO that's why it's upset so many people here. Your daughter has done nothing wrong and whilst we can't undo the past the past is just that.adoption wouldn't be an easy process at all and I just can't see how you can try for a baby knowing you might have a girl.0

Went wonderfully! Told my cousins and aunt first, then told my grandma. Her reaction was definitely the best we've had so far! Even better, one of my cousins has a video of her reaction that she's going to send us. :rotfl:0 -
For all the people still feeling sick... I'm now 27 weeks and still feel sick... not so much in the mornings now but if I am the slightest bit hungry.
I hope it passes for you all better than it has for me !0 -

I still feel sickwhen did you ladies start feeling better ?! I'm told the 2nd trimester is the best, you feel loads better and have lots more energy ! I know i'm only just coming out of the 1st trimester.... but i can't wait to feel human again. Poor OH is doing the lion's share of everything whilst i rest up, he never complains though bless him.
Hugs to all Xx
My sickness totally went at around 15-16 weeks and the appetite kicked in! I hope you feel better soon, it's difficult to believe I know but you soon forget how it felt to feel constantly sick. :-)0 -
To those ladies no longer feeling sick, do you still have slight aversions to foods that made you feel really ill a few weeks ago? I'm still slightly off meat or anything mushy.0
