We had our 20w scan today and all is well thankfully. I think I can finally relax and believe that after 4 years, it's our turn!
We're team pink. :j

Huge congrats on the princess. You sound similar to us we had been trying for 3 years and had been due to see the IVF consultant again on the 26th Nov and found out the 15th Nov I was pregnant. I was meant to be 14+1 on the 22nd, went for my dating scan and found out I was 15+5 and we are having a little boy. I'm still in shock and disbelief xx
I'm 18+4 today....am not sure if I'm feeling movements...my placenta is anterior so it might be abit later.
I'm waiting for a appointment with the midwife after my ob appointment has turned a lot on its head with no explanation.
Iv got my 20 week scan the 30th Dec and I will be 21+1. Iv got my GP midwife appointment the 19th Dec.
Hoping everyone is well.

Congratulations, SK! Only half as many names to choose between, now.....
WE're finding out on 27th, my 20-ish week scan.
I've been feeling movement for a couple of weeks now, but it's gentle - started off like trapped wind, now it feels like butterfly movements. It was later with Isaac, but I had an anterior placenta then....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Congrats SK! Having had 2 - I can honestly say, girls are great!!x
The movement Im feeling is very ticklish - to an extent where it becomes a little unbearable and I have to scratch my stomach! I have only felt it when Im in work sat at my desk - must the optimum position for it! x0 -
Awww congrats SK, must be an amazing feeling xx0

Congratulations SK. Woo hoo for team pink :-)
I've just had my 16 week appointment which was a little bit of a dissapointment! Everything medically was fine but they couldn't take my DS screening bloods because they had no forms (couldn't get nuchal translucency on scan so having to do it the old fashioned way) so I have to go back before I'm 20 weeks, I can't go next week as it's my wedding day so I have to go in the middle of Christmas! She also point blank refused to listen to the heartbeat until after 28 weeks :-( last pregnancy they listened in right from 12 weeks but she was an older midwife who had been doing it for 50 years and didn't Take muci notice of the 'rules'.
She also looked through my notes and noticed I had forceps at the last birth and immediately said 'don't worry you won't need forceps this time, second time round everything is stretched so baby will just float out' I was speechless and kind of insulted!!!0 -
wow, looks like some of you have pretty mean midwifes! I guess I'm lucky as mine seems lovely and listened to heartbeat at 16 weeks even though she said she shouldn't. Could you ask to change?0
