I've added myself hope I did it right on my phone, I didn't change the colours or anything! I'm at the very bottom0 -
secret- I bought a pair of mat jeans in the Mamas and Papas sale, they are under bump ones and really comfy. They were pretty pricey at full price, but the sale price was about £15 I think. I also got a couple pairs of work trousers at the same time, and they are also comfy.
I feel massive all of a sudden, we were at a big family lunch yesterday and I was wearing a maternity top for the first time, and I looked properly pregnant!0 -
I'm just catching up on everything after another week of crazy activity and can't believe I was 4 pages behind on the thread!
Regarding maternity jeans - I did the same as mrshappy - M&P sale for £15 and I loved them from the second I put them on... Wanted to wear them before I had much of a bump even! Because I'm only 5ft I have to get the short leg ones which seem super scarce for some reason. I also picked up a second pair in a slightly different style on eBay - about £14 delivered BNWT so worth looking on there too.
Both are under bump, the elastic is starting to fold under my bump now it's bigger which is a little annoying but not too bad.
AFM - my aunt offered me her second hand M&P Sola plus car seat etc so it looks like our buggy is sorted which is awesome. Since then the in laws have offered to buy us one too so they're coming from all directionsTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
I feel like since I'm past 12 weeks now I should stop the worrying but does anybody else just wonder like...if things are okay?! I've stopped feeling sick now and I'm not having many symptoms at all apart from loads of burping haha (ladylike!). I just think constantly how do I know everything is fine in there? from reading this thread it seems they don't even listen to the heartbeat at my 16 weeks appointment so 2 months seems to be a long time to go!
I had awful stomach ache the other night but I'm pretty certain it was trapped wind, but my mind still goes into overdrive! ahh.0 -
When I was measured last summer, I was a 38/40 G, and I know I've gone up one size in band and at least one in cup already. Heaven help me if they get much bigger!!! We are doing travelling this weekend and over next week to visit UK family and tell them the news, and I have to keep my bra on most of the time. I am not happy about this! When I'm at home, it's pj's, knickers, dressing gown, slippers, and naught else.
Ditto! The second I walk through the door the bra is off lol, even before I greet OH! I'm still wearing a badly fitted 36H bra, I need to get a maternity bra asap as it's really painful when I take it off/put it on but really can't face it, already tried M&S, mothercare and Debenhams and nothing is big enough
PS I did laugh at the boulders comment... one of OH's friends has even referred to me as shoulder boulders... how rude! (He didn't think OH would tell me that but still!!)

Don't worry yet, lots of midwives will. Just seems to be a postcode lottery.

I know exactly how you feel, I get pains from my endometriosis as well which are quite sharp pains in the lower stomach so of course I get really paranoid when I get them, even though I know what they are. Today I am feeling really uncomfortable around my belly, I wonder whether that's what you get like before baby starts moving? OH had his ears up against my belly last night and swears he can hear the baby moving in there!!!!
Definitely going to try those M&P jeans they sound fab xOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T
Maternity leave fund: £3000/£6000 :T0 -
