  • Just went onto the m&p website and they're doing 50% off maternity wear right now!! Does anyone know if this extends to in store as well? Would rather go and try them on and buy in store really!

I feel like since I'm past 12 weeks now I should stop the worrying but does anybody else just wonder like...if things are okay?! I've stopped feeling sick now and I'm not having many symptoms at all apart from loads of burping haha (ladylike!). I just think constantly how do I know everything is fine in there? from reading this thread it seems they don't even listen to the heartbeat at my 16 weeks appointment so 2 months seems to be a long time to go!

I had awful stomach ache the other night but I'm pretty certain it was trapped wind, but my mind still goes into overdrive! ahh.

I did say before you joined on that on Amazon there is a heartbeat monitor from Angelsounds. It has been my lifeline. It would take me a while to find the heartbeat but now I can usually find it straight away. I am starting to feel little flutters I am 17+6 today and have been feeling this for a few days - there are not kicks but more like bubbles or brushes against my insides lol.

I used to worry about stomach ache but I am so used to having either heartburn, wind, constipation or anything else you can think of that my mind has started to let those thing goes. Although, I am still on knicker watch and I don't think this will stop until after baby is born.

I can't stand maternity jeans - they all look horrible or cost a mortgage payment. All too often both.

I've not actually expanded out of any of my clothes yet, apart from some bras and my smallest work shirts, which are straining a bit over the bust. I'm 18 weeks now.

Wow you must have a great mortgage deal pmsl!

When I was under 10 weeks I was quite visibly pregnant to the point where one of my directors guessed, but now I'm 18 weeks and 3 days and I don't show at all?! Its so weird! I've managed to lose about 10lbs since becoming pregnant and at the Christmas party last night I wore a bodycon dress and I looked slimmer than I have done for a long time.

I am pleased that I'm managing to control my weight but at the same time I hope my lack of a bump now doesn't mean that something's wrong. I can feel the baby moving so that must be a good thing, I just hope he/she is all ok in there!

I have my 20 week scan on 27 December so hoping to find out the sex then, congrats to SK on your little girl! Xxx

I'm finally starting to feel a lot better, so hopefully the bad bit is over.

People are now telling me i'm 'glowing' although I don't see it, it's certainly better than ' you look exhausted' ! I'm sick of not being able to bend down proprley though, think I need one of them grabber things, I'm not HUGE but just cant bend certain ways.

For those asking about maternity jeans, I got a really comfy over bump pair from jojo maman bebe for £29. Bought my usual pre pregnancy size and they gave a fai selection of styles x

I second this, £20 on Amazon and it's so worth it. I admit I haven't found it every time (I have a bigger 'maternal body habitus' so maybe that's it haha) but I'm only 13+6. You do need some patience too, the first time it took 2 minutes to find the second time it took 20. However, when I have found it it's just been amazing, so reassuring. The last time I did it there were some extra booming noises, which I think was the baby kicking to let me know it's there (of course you can't feel that ha!)

Another Angelsounds doppler user here... kept both me and OH sane between 14 and 20 weeks (anterior placenta). Now I'm getting regular movements I haven't used it for a while but think it'll be handy if he has a 'quiet' day.

24 weeks today so I guess I should be thinking about heading over to the other thread soon... seems like only the other day I was joining this one. The second trimester definately goes quicker...
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

When I was in there on Friday I think some of it was 50% off but not everything. I think some was 3 for 2.
