:rotfl:I don't know monitoring if your under weight, at an ok weight or over wieght:rotfl:
Lets just accept we will all be monitored 1001 different reasons. :rotfl:
On a plus point I think I am feeling something occasionally, its very slight almost like popping in my tummy. Not something I remember from DS though. Its not a definate movement. But I am feeling something.
I thought I felt something on the drive home from work just now and then I realised it was probably just hunger pains (you know like when your belly gurgles from hunger I am sure it was that but I had the music up loud so it was hard to tell lol)
Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T
Maternity leave fund: £3000/£6000 :T0 -
I was thinking it might be that - but I can't say I have had that before like this popping feeling. I am probably thinking too far into it and its that but I hope it gets stronger and its baby xx3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

I found one baby at once quite enough when Isaac was a newborn.
So did I lol :rotfl:x3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Mrs_T_M I did get one good picture but the rest were not great - I have seen some really good ones that friends have had but my uterus tips back and that combined with my bladder apprently being too full and an unruley baby it took ages to get a good picture?
Did you get the Downs Test with the measuring?
Nope. Refused the test. I had a 1 in 2 chance of having Downs syndrome, and here I am with a genius level IQ (which I'm very self conscience of admitting!) instead. The test caused my mom to worry the entire pregnancy, and the way I see it, we would love the little one the same no matter, so why add stress and worry to it?
They dated ours by the skull, because they really could not get a profile clear enough to measure!0 -
I am thin but not short so I think I look even thinner because of that. I am skin and bone always have been wear a size 6 sometimes 8 depending on the shop. I have always been thin - I have always had issues with people saying I am very thin, do I eat bla bla bla but hey that is just the way it is.
Well done on your weight gain - I am 17+3 and I am now lower than my weight before I got pregnant I did put on a bit but I have lost it - I have been so busy though and out with the dog a lot more as she needs walking earlier in these evenings with the light going so fast.
I am not worried at all and I think BMI is silly TBH but that is my opinion. I have friends that are over 30 BMI and do marathons. It is your body make up and your structures, you bones, muscle it all depends I think.
I agree. Bmi is only ok for the 'average' person.
DH is a personal trainer but is like his sister and weighs more than his looks. He knows his bmi is around 26/27 which is 'over weight' but he's got barely any fat and has a 6 pack.
So if he sees people in the street doing bmi testing he'll do it to take the Mickey as they don't know what to say when it comes up as that!
I think if you're short or talk people will find something to say. I think as I'm fairly short people think I must be even more delicate lol! Can't win.jen_1985_04 wrote: »Were your weights never questioned when you went for the contraception pill (if of course you ever used this method) for me it was every appointment, they would weigh me and i'd get 'hhhhhmmm your classed as under-weight.... this can just be as serious as being over weight you know'
At my booking-in appointment it wasn't even questioned, which was a relief - maybe she didn't dare go there as I was an emotional wreck after the talk of the down syndrome testing lol
They'd just say oh you're small aren't you. And then I guess look on the computer and see I've been small since forever & never mentioned anything. Plus my old dr was the same size as me! And so is another one at the practice.jen_1985_04 wrote: »Sounds awful bless her! well i'm 5 ft 4 and before pregnancy weighed around 7st 5 - which I believe the BMI is 18 - anything under 18.5 is classed as underweight so borderline really!
I'm 5'3'' and was 7st 1 when I got pg, then lost 5lb being sick bit I'm now 8st!
When my mum had me I think she was around a size 12, yet I was only 5lb 14 and a small skinny child. Yet I walked at 9 months so it didn't affect me!0 -

I meant when my mom was pregnant with me, that was the 'risk' that they gave her.0
