  • Sorry SamToby - pretty sure Im feeling baby as well :) Very light tickles - it is my 3rd though so they do say you recognise it sooner. Its very reassuring - as all symptoms had disappeared really, except for my fat tummy!! x
  • Still no movement for me, 19 weeks tomorrow - first baby so could be a few more weeks yet!
  • Not been online since Thursday, had a long weekend off work (Yay!) so no access to a computer

I have my 16 week midwife appointment on Friday, when I'll actually be 17 weeks

I hope she listens for the heartbeat, but Im not sure if they do in my area x

I think it might be something to do with the placenta being on the front - maybe baby is just kicking that and its acting like a cushion.

I am only 17+2 so maybe a bit early to expect it. Hoping by my 20 week scan I will have felt something. xx

cleaseablue - if they don't you can buy heartbeat monitors online I have an angelsounds one it costs £20 which is very reasonable.

I hope they do listen to it though for you xx

    Have space for one more?

Had my 12 week scan today (12+3 by my dates), and they dated me at 13+1! New EDD of 16/6/14.

  • Welcome Mrs_T_M! we always have room for graduates :)

I shall be moving on at the end of the week (I know I should go now as I'm 24+4 but trying to wean myself off this thread!) I will still lurk naturally :)

The backs of my calves and my right hip are so painful today :( the calf pain I think is due to so much walking around the shops yesterday and the hip pain was there yesterday too.

Bubs has been jiving away since lunch...almost certain now it's the Christmas link as it was as soon as I had eaten my mince pie! hehe
Got the dog at the groomers tonight so dashing off shortly. Early start at work tomorrow too coupled with a normal time/maybe slightly later finish and the early start again Thursday so I can get my hours in to finish at a decent, earlyish time on Friday as we are heading off for the weekend!

Got to run the vac through and get through all of the ironing before bf gets home on Thursday though so we will have to see how we get on. Think I will do half the ironing tonight and half tomorrow!
