    Morning all.

I have to start off by saying I'M GETTING MARRIED NEXT WEEK :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    All done...

Not much pregnancy related to announce really apart from i'm noticing lots of growing, i weighed myself last night and i have lost 7lbs since pre pregnancy...but i feel bigger...how does that work?? I'm convinced my scales are wrong.

On a completely non pregnancy related topic. Something very strange happened in the night. I was putting some clothes away before bed last night and was just getting into bed when i noticed OH's top drawer on the wardrobe on his side of the room was open so i asked him to close it which he got up and did. This morning i came in from the shower (OH still asleep) I turned the light on because i'm mean and had to wake him up and the drawer was wide open again...
Neither of us had got up in the night and it doesnt open on it's own as you have to give it a good tug to open it.
It's kind of freaked me out

Firstly, hope all goes great on your wedding day! :D

But what I'm actually de-lurking to say is that I'm still lower than my pre pregnancy weight at 25 weeks! Baby will be getting all they need for you. If anything it'll be you that will be lacking in vitamins etc. So don't worry.
 Mini me due March 2014

Thank you very much that's useful to know that it might not be just dodgy scales. I put 4 stone on in my last pregnancy so have been conciously eating healthier since i got my appetite back after MS but never expected to actually be lighter at 16 weeks.

Aww the bad thing about me being on this thread is that everybody is at least a few weeks ahead and are getting the exciting things like movement! I've resorted to a doppler off Amazon just to keep the excitement going for a few weeks! I even want to get an early gender scan!

Just started to look for a pram, since OH's gran has said she'll buy one for us, but I haven't any idea where to look for recommendations and stuff... this baby business is complete minefield!!

    13+1 xx

Snap! I'm due 3rd March and we have one baby grow and a piece of art for the nursery wall. I'm not kidding that is literally all we have and I'm due in 12 weeks. It's just so hard to buy anything when we're team yellow and don't have the house yet (fingers crossed the searches go well and we can complete next month).

Good luck to the both of us I think!! We have this evening just registered with loads of estate agents and my OH is going to do a ring round tomorrow lunchtime and try and arrange some viewings for next weekend. Just hope we can find some good stuff!! I think it's supposed to pick up a bit in January so we're hoping there will be more on the market then. It's just so difficult as we're in the greater London area and everything is so expensive :(
Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

    Maternity leave fund: £3000/£6000 :T

  • Whoo good luck for the wedding! Thats dead scary about your drawer, keep an eye on itto see if it happens again.

I'm reeling a bit from having to do an emergency stop on a roundabout after some !!!!!! suddenly stopped dead in front of me for no apparent reason, before changing lanes without indicating then turning off the roundabout without indicating either! All of us jolted forwards and my tummy hurts, hope its all ok :(

This month is probably a no go with finding a property but January to April is when loads of people decide to move. So you can use the next few weeks to find a good independent whole of market broker, research how much you want/need to spend for the size and location of property you want, and have some idea of good solicitors. Also see how much deposit you have after deducting buying costs, stamp duty and a contingency fund from your savings so you can see what LTV and mortgage rates you'll get. We're in Greater London too (east direction) and couldn't believe the frenzy over the last few months, prices were rising before our eyes. So we've paid more than I wanted to but got a house in stunning condition. Good luck and hopefully we'll both have time to decorate new nurseries before our little ones arrive.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

Exciting times ahead for your wedding cllola!

Not much to report here, spend yesterday morning with my parents getting bf's Christmas presents finally. Got a couple of bargains so I'm happy and a jumper which isn't his usual style but will look smart on him (if nothing else he can wear it for baba's Christening hahaha its . Lovely v-neck thin black jumper from red herring) also got him two of the three DVDs he wanted (plus polar express which he has never seen to add to our Christmas collection!) plus a couple of others. One left to order which is online only with free delivery :-)

Returned the Asos maternity dresses and got proof of postage so just have to wait to receive my refund now

We have just been given health insurance with work but the boss has put us all on a plan with no maternity benefits whereas the same company offer one on their other plans which is £115 after birth! Grr. Annoying but now very good that I can claim back my contacts and glasses so have ordered some more contacts at last and in the new year will get the lenses in my glasses replaced. Get dental for free because of tax credits but such a help to be able to claim other stuff back!

Rugby team got to see bump for the first time last night and they all thought she was great. Particularly happy that my favourites at the club are excited about having me back at training for a while/much more as I've been feeling a bit forgotten haha.

Pretty sure baby already loves Christmas as much as me and her dad; Christmas-y food, festive talk, music and films all seem to set her off the most movement wise hehe so very citing for next year when she will be 8months or so :-)
