I am home... getting ready to meet a friend for the cinema.. we are seeing Blue Jasmine.. (minus any treats)..
I am now dressed in 4 layers on my upper body including a merino wool Icebreaker base layer for hiking... another two layers which includes a fleece and hiking jacket.. and scarf..I am also wearing base layer leggings under my trousers and hiking socks.....
That is how cold our cinema is...

rumblytum I don't think prescriptions count as spends so if you didn't spend anything it's a SFD. Is that right NSK?

Apologies for being in hiding! I've been so tired this week I've just been coming home and curling up on the sofa like a giant cat!
Yesterday I did a Yellow sticker shop in b00ts which was fun! so NSD there! :j
Today - did a Sainsb0bs drop in but OH gave me a tenner from his fun money so it didn't actually come from our budget - can I still class that as a NSD for me?!!
bit worried though - he seems to have quite a bit of fun money at the moment - where is it coming from?!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Made 50 quid doing some overtime yesterday as well so currently my totals look as follows:

Managed to con the parking machine into accepting £1.25 which gave me 5 minutes of time after my appointment.
Unfortunately, in that five minutes I wasn't able to buy myself the new sports socks that I needed, so it means I need to cope with the threadbare socks a little longer. I'm not going to go out and spend just for the sake of it.
Lunch to work again and alcohol free.
Instead of upgrading my phone to a sparkly all singing all dancing new iphone, I downgraded the SIM card to a better deal, saving myself about £25 a month. My phone will last, and I have an Ipad if I want anything new new.Feb NST #4

Evening everyone!
First off - Hugs to Fyggy! Bet your glad that day is behind you!!!
Superdosa - You're going to have home grown vegetables? Nice!!! It will be like 'The Good Life'
Karmachi - Thanks - I loved the book and it's really easy to apply... but you gotta have will power and it isn't always easy!
Kat - If you are going to binge - do it in style lol. I have days like that where I get wicked carb cravings! I have realised I cannot keep things like crisps in the house because I will eat them all within a few days!!! That said I have a bar of dark chocolate in usually and can only ever manage 4 pieces at a time... and it's meant to be good for you!!!
Good day today (although not a SFD) and have emptied the rest of this week's money into various pots. I now have £40 to last me 2 weeks, plus £15 for fuel. I have a fair bit of food in - so am hopeful I'm going to do it this month!!!
Have a nice evening

My life is full of abundance and prosperity
NST April: Food/Spends = £240.00/£60.00 NSD = 7 /12
Be kind - Eat well - Exercise - Be mindful0 -
Abundant1972 - I'm exactly the same with treats, if they're there I'll eat them! In-fact I obsess about them and my psychology is 'if I eat them all now then they will be gone and will no longer taunt me.' Even hiding them from myself doesn't work- the fundamental flaw there is that I'm the one hiding them!
Dark chocolate is a good compromise to treats- I find it hard to binge on as it's so rich- I may follow your lead
SFD - 9 today!:coffee:

Good evening all :j
Even though I posted yesterday I went of on one and forgot to post my progress!
Today was a spend day and for the first time in about a year I caved in and bought my lunch at work. I have annoyed myself so much about this because it was the one challenge I thought I would fly through easily
Anyway,
SFDs 6/20
Food budget £35.39/180
Lunches to work 1/18
No eating out 0
Keep warm
