  • Evening all.

Phew! End of the month at last.

Another spend day today - on food - partly because I didn't have any packed lunch. I hang my head in shame . . .

My totals for the month are:

    Food- £122.54/£80:mad:
    Misc - £442.52/£150:eek:
    Petrol - £15.08/£50:)
    Food bank - £2.56/£3
    Car tax - £175/£175
    Money made - £36.20/£100:mad:
    France - £102.90/£150:)
    SFD - 15/20

All in all I think I have done ok for my 2nd month on the challenge. I know what I need to do with regards my budgets for November. I really do need to batten down the hatches for November. I'm not 100% sure I can achieve the SFD total but I will give it a good go.

Can't wait until tomorrow as my pay rise kicks in and I just want to know how this has affected my pay packet (I'm currently paid weekly), so I can budget better. I would stay up and check at midnight but am so tired am heading off to bed.

Have a good Friday everyone and see you in November! Good luck all!

Morning all, woke up to a lovely surprise. The gold I sent off has been valued and £70.48 has been sent to my account :) Yay! That means my ccard is below £1900 and my total debt is £56 away from being below £13000 :)

Only downside is that it credited today so I can't use it for my NOvember money making ;)

Just wanted to say well done on getting so far so soon on the debt, I'm a long hauler too and can't wait till I get under 10k, it'll be so good to know my hard work has literally paid off! Right I'm off to November...

  • I am officially signing off October as I fell asleep last night before I could do so. 20 SFD's last night after meeting a friend for dinner who cooked for me..(Phew!).. and am now off to NOvember having paid £1740 off my debts... time to hit the OT again though!... See you all in NOvember!

    SFDs: 17/20 :o
    Food budget: £403.10/£350:o
    Donation: £0/£3
Planned outings: 1/1 Meal out for birthday with OH (paid on voucher already)
Takeaway £19.40/£20 - Chinese to celebrate birthday with children,
Take lunch to work: 18/18 :j
    Beauty spends £2.67/£10

Okay so first time on challenge. Didn't quite make the SFD but quite happy at only being 3 off when it's our first time. Made all lunches for work and under on beauty spends. Planned outings/takeaways came in on budget so that was all good. Only down side was the grocery spend but to be honest it was our first month and we had a huge stock up on the first week and didn't really know how much we needed. Needless to say we have quite a lot left so I have been very bold and have cut this months budget!!

    Off to NOvember.
