    Hey everyone,

Well, mixed success over the last few days :o

Am up to 5 SFD not including today and the food and petrol budgets are looking really good. Unfortunately went out with OH on Saturday to blow some steam off after all the OT OH had done. And ended up spending twice the budgeted amount. We're still within the main entertainment budget but I've still got to make fancy dress for both of us for a Halloween party, at this rate we're both going as the invisible man!!

We managed to buy two more Christmas presents for family on Saturday as well so feeling good about this, don't think I've ever been this organised!! :T

I don't know about everyone else in MSE land but we still haven't put our heating on! The washing isn't drying very well though and smells damp so we're looking at buying a tumble dryer, seen a 7.5kg Indesit Condenser thingy which works out at £175 after cashback so may buy as an early Christmas pressie to myself :)

    Happy Wednesday folks

I once had a buyer who sent me a nasty email says she wasn't going to pay and she'd already told me that and I should stop asking! I'd had no email, so I kept my  and said I was very sorry but I hadn't received any email and please could she explain again why she wouldn't be paying. Turns out she'd mixed up her bids and it was somebody else she was in dispute with! She was not one I'd want to be on the wrong side of! :rotfl:

I've stopped with the bay for ages, because it's just not worth the hassel, but I might start again. There's a few things of worth that can't be sent to the charity shop or taken to a frock swap.

Spendy day today: car repairs and pub quiz night.

  • Would I be able to join this in November please. Only just seen this thread. But reading it all. Aren,t you all doing well.
I don't have any debt now....thank goodness. But I do have to be carefull, very. Household of me, my daughter who is 18 today, her boyfriend who lodges with us and a part time OH. Don't ask!
Since I have cleared my debts I have saved every week for Xmas, birthdays, holiday huh chance would be a fine thing. Lol. Vet bills. Everything I can think of and I am doing quite well. Though I no sometimes I spend needlessly and unnecessarily.
Also I am trying to save for a rainy day as I no I only have another year before my DD goes off to university and my income will dramatically drop.
    Not that I,m wealthy now.
This month I will check how much I am spending and on what then I will have a more realistic idea of what to aim for.
Thanks, I hope this will be ok and good luck to you all already on the challenge. X
