  • Afternoon Chickadees!!!

Well now - it looks like we have survived the weekend ok! I have managed a supreme 3 SFD's in a row and am aiming for another today.. seems like you are all clocking up some SFD's or at least some low spend days/...LOVE IT!!...Unfortunatly the horrible car issues have been troubling a few of you and I totally feel your pain - my MOT etc is coming up at the beginning of November so I am not looking forward to the expence...

NO overtime gathered so far. I am so annoyed! I know I have enough coming in to clear the land debt but I fear there might be something that I will have to put on the CC to cover the bike service and MOT... and I wanted that cleared by the end of the year............hmmmm this month's OT wouldn't have made it in on time to clear the CC by the end of the year... back to the drawing board for pennies......

I am not sure who was asking but any medication, pre-planned dentistry, petrol and pre-planned car maintanence can still be classed as an SFD.... phew...

I have started my new post today. Same desk. Not a clue what I am doing. Think they have forgotten I am here. Ho hum....

My weekend was spent fluffing around waiting to see a friend who annoyed me and who did not deserve a day of my annual leave which I took off yesterday... lessons learnt!

Still considering the removal of my gym membership from £34.50 a month to £12.99 (and £15 joining fee) at the expence of the sauna/steam room and swimming pool which I barely use...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm those steamy evenings relaxing are great but are they worth £21.51 a month... no I don't think they are....

    Right... I have to do......ummm........something....... I think. :p

When I found out I'm pregnant and before I realised this time I am apparently allowed two cups a day (wasn't three years ago with DS, eh?) I started drinking decaf coffee because I like the taste in the morning and for the placebo effect. My headaches lasted three days on and off.

Wish I could that with alcohol, I just don't see the point in alcohol free cider, might as well drink lemonade :rotfl: which is cheaper. I guess If I liked wine it would be different as there is no real substitute.
finally tea total but in still in (more) debt (Oct 25 CC £1800, loan £6453, mortgage £59,924/158,000)
  • Checking in today with a SFD, only no. 3 and I need to start racking those up!

The office tuck shop is calling me but I shall resist!

When one meets with ones new boss and all one can hear is "blah blah blah blah blah blah etc" when she is speaking and one has to hold ones tongue cause the only good thing one can think of to say to her is "shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up" one should start thinking about working for another company - or travelling.

That was the extent of my last meeting. I can't honestly thank her enough though for spurring me on to making the monumentous decision to tell my friend that I am indeed going to cancel my gym membership asap.

I can't get overtime this month and have to consider this might be the case for the rest of the time prior to me leaving the country...

Cuts have to be made. I have a goal. I need out of here!!!

EDIT: - Mother if you are lurking today and you are reading this, now would be a great time to confess if you are holding millions of £££'s in off-shore accounts primarily awaiting a good time to admit your penny-pinching has infact funded the purchase of an Island in the Bahamas and enough money for me to live on for at least 10 years. Thank you in advance!

Crazy how the rules are different and change with in a few years. But that's a whole new thread.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry for not checking in NSK, please take this as a huge apology..;).I have been away for the past few days and haven't had access to the internet. However, you have been on my mind and I have been very well behaved!:A

I have had 6 SFD's so far and I am properly chuffed with these!

Budgets and payments have all been done and we have plenty of food to last us for the week ahead.

I am loving the tips on freezing stuff and I will certainly be giving this a go.

    Have a good afternoon.
