Evening all :) SFD no. 3 for me :) Also took packed lunch and didn't eat out :):)

Item listed on eBay this weekend, 26 watchers so far, so fingers crossed. I know I'm a newbie but could do with an extra £100 paid off my huge debts, so I'm aiming to sell anything that's not needed.

Shopping day will be tomorrow or Wednesday but hoping to clock up lots more SFDs this week. Also the milkman accidentally delivered me 2 pints of milk this morning, after I cancelled our order two weeks ago, so free milk :)

You just know when a checkout operator asks you if you are okay packing, they are going to throw your food at you at a rate of knots... you may as well stand as far back from the checkout as you can and get ready to catch!

So I went to T*scos on Friday as I had a couple of coupons £3 off a £30 shop and double points, so when I check out I always go to a manned till. As predicted I had all my food thrown at me, but for once it worked in my favour, a gluten free lemon cake didn't get scanned some how?! (the woman needs to reign in her pitching arm) I checked my receipt at home, but couldn't find the lemon cake on it, then I thought maybe it's one of their famous 1p items scanned as something else, but no.

At work last night just about to boil the kettle, for my dried packet rice, to eat with my 25 gram mutli-packet of supermarket crisps when a colleague said she'd pay for pizza! I had half a meat feast, some garlic bread and 3/4 of a bottle of cola, it's true nothing tastes as good as free food. When I am debt free I'll get the pizzas in.

So today is SFD 4, Food £41.22/£112, Misc £32.99/£56.66 this was my new coat for work, which I am feeling guilty about, but I needed it. I chucked my old coat away which I loved, it was from Monsoon and I had it for about 12 years, cost per wear uhm...really really low, but it was thread bare and had to go.

    :hello: Hi All,

Hope you all had lovely jubbley weekends!

Had such a great time at the zoo on Sunday- I was there for 7 hours! Definitely getting my Tesco points worth out of the trip!! Took my packed lunch and snacks so was fine for food!

Dropped off my food bank donation at local C0op collection point today- always feel a little naughty filling it with T3sco products and not buying anything in the shop! hehe :) I realised after I left the shop that I was quite near a geo-cache, but felt disappointed when I realised I had no pen for signing the log book if i came across it. Low and behold there was a stray pen on the floor, all on it's lonesome, outside of the C0op so nabbed it and located the cache! :T (getting a little addicted to this geocaching!)

Love all the freezer tips! I discovered the consequences of freezing strawberries this summer- not a problem though- I scoffed the lot despite the mush! (Strawbs are my fave fruit!)

Currently at 6/20 SFD's :j I need Fuel tomorrow but this will be coming out of the fuel budget.

    See you all tomorrow :A

A small spendy day today. Some top up groceries that got missed when I did the online shop (I was on pain meds so not concentrating!!)
It was £11 so not too bad!! Having you guys to report to definitely changes the way my thinking goes each day. Hoping it will eventually be a life-changing habit.

Another spend free day tucked under my belt.

I spent all day stuck at my computer screen, well almost all day, I had to get up and go for a wander this afternoon because my eyes were going square.

Made good progress though so I feel good, and having this challenge is actually helping.

I would have normally broken and bought some junk food from the vending machine to get me through, but I didn't, I had my cheddars instead.

Another alcohol free day, it's going easier than I thought, although I did have a little wobble on Saturday.

    Food £16.55/£200, Fuel £0/£250, Ents £17.47/£180, General £4/£100, SFD 8/15, LTW 11/16
Debt Free Date Friday 29th March 2014 :j
  • Hadnt put 100% effort into this challenge last week so ive finally worked out my dfd of may 2015, this doesnt include car payments, but my car will be finished at the end of next year, and im not worried about dh's as weve only just had it! Have got another debt which is a shared equity kind of thing on house, will either need to pay it back in 8 years or pay it off once house is sold, i havent included this as we'll move before then. With a bit of hard work we could pay this off earlier, xmas 2014 is my goal!

This months debt repayments are £941.
Imagine having that spare a month.....

Managed the sfd 2 which is good :)
Still here..... but working on that!
