Quick check in, again.
Only did four hours at work but I got ahead with what I've got to do this coming week so feel better about that.
SFD and AFD, as predicted and I'm actually trying to see how far I can eek out my SFD's already.
I gave up smoking in December, bad time to do it I know, but I did. I got an e-cig but only had it for a month. It helped me get through the boredom smoking that I would do, and was there when I got a little stressed but I didn't want to become reliant on it (not having a dig, just saying why I did it).
I'm hoping to have a SFD week until the weekend, I think I have everything I need in and have no plans to buy anything.
Everyone seems to be doing really well and I know it helps me to come on and read how everyone is doing.Feb NST #4

Without sounding cheeky NSK, I did include it in the budget as our one treat to keep my OH sweet...
Ahh carp I do remember now... sowwwy!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
No need to apologise, I know you need to keep us on the straight and narrow.
On the plus side, I am now too chicken to agree to a second takeaway later in the month as I know whats coming if I do.
Hope you had a good day with your friend.
edit: just remembered something about my shopping trip. Saw three pack of tinned tuna for half price (£3.04 for three tins). Got all excited and picked up the packet... then noticed the exact same tins but singally were 99p so I save 7 pence!!

Evening all. SFD number 3 for me today so feeling happy with that. I did go out for breakfast today with my dad and he paid (I used the 'I had to tax my car yesterday' line so got out of paying for anything) but have promised to pay next time we go out to eat in a couple of weeks time, so will have to take this out of my misc budget.
A chilled out day in the glorious weather - managed to get some more laundry washed and dried, went out for a walk, and watched some tv. Been crafting again (knitting tonight), but heading off to bed soon for a read of my Kindle and an earlyish night as want to go for a run before work tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow will be a SFD as have made my packed lunch and will try to delay paying my tea boat money until Tuesday when I will have to get some bread and fresh fruit.
Until tomorrow. Have a good Monday everyone.0 -
No sfd for me today as i knew it wouldnt be. Dd's birthday and birthday party, all budgeted although it would have been nice not to have the expense.... Suppose its all done now for another 365 days and shes had a lovely day!!
Been to the il's for tea tonight as we always do on a sunday, and lunch was party food! I had overbudgeted for the party so the rest is in the money pot ready for top up shopping and bits we need.
So dh is not a big spender, and doesnt get involved with finances at all, which is good and bad at the same time as it means he's clueless... Well anyway, earlier on we took dd's friend home, to a nice/quiet part of the world, the kind of place we've both always wanted to live, and he was going on about how much he wants to live there.fields surrounding the house, abd doggy could roam free etc. So i made him a deal, when we are debt feee we can put the house on the market and move, but in the mean time we have to stop unnecessary spends and put all spare money toward debt, as there is no way i'll be moving otherwise. I'm hoping that this will be the start of a new debt busting dh??! Worth a try anyway i think as he's a bury his head in the sand kinda guy!
So plan is pay off all cc debt by xmas, loan next year and car finance finishes dec next year.... (Not the new car my small one) all being well we could put the house on the market jan 2015.Still here..... but working on that!0 -
NSK - have a great day off tomorrow

Hello hello!
All good from here. Yesterday was a spending day as planned but a much lower than planned with the added bonus of making some brass! Woot. Spend £3 on a programme at the footie. Parked even further away than usual so it was free (3mile round trip walk to/from car!). Took all my food and drinks with me so nothing else spent. Also a good game 3-1 win.
Came home to DH and best girl who is visiting from Guernsey. We had initially planned to go for a curry, but by the time best girl arrived we popped open a bottle of Champers and drank that before opting for our fave Wetherspoons. Cheap and cheerfulDH bought my dinner (shocker!) and then I only ended up buying a round when I was nearly leaving, so only a fiver spent. I was home and in bed for half 10 ready for work today!
The unexpected money was from the guy who sits next to me at Anfield. He had my ticket last month when I couldn't go so furnished me with £45 for using it. Hurrah!
Today was a SFD, being in work 13hours does that to you! Making it SFDs= 4/20. Tomorrow I am pondering, I have a planned spend at a dental checkup. I wonder if that comes under the medical-ness rules? NSK?
Sadly I had an eB.ayer pull out of an auction. The dispute is nearly complete, but I am still being charged the fees- I think I have to claim back, so that's £11.50 not planned for, sigh

Just tried to catch up on all ive missed!! I sometimes frezze milk, however once asda had milk just before best date at 9p a go, put a load in freezer, the ones I keep out lasted well but frozen ones were all bad when taking out.
Went to a baby shower today, managed to get lift there and back. Disnt buy a present as she is a close friend I want to do it when her little lady/fells is here. Want to get her sex specific clothes as shes got loads of white/beige from everyone. So was nearly another nsp but they popped out a guest the weight sheet so had to spend £1!! Arrhh well.....
Had a planned outing tomorrow but cant go now, so will save money I had put aside for that!! Only £20 but thats more money for xmas pot. Really should get some presents before I have to much ££££ and will hate spending it in one go!!!
Look forward for after xmas as ive seen how quickly pot goes up when not spending. I should hopefully pay debt back a lot quicker than originally thought.

You can freeze most stuff, it's just how it comes out after. Most veg like runner beans can be blanched first in boiling water then frozen. Stuff with high water content like cucumber and strawberries not so great. What's the worst that could happen? Bit mushy perhaps but I'd just chuck it all in and make soup.
As for cheese I have used it straight from frozen. Grated only takes seconds to defrost. Chuck it straight on the pizza as it- no problems.
Enjoy. X:o:eek:Total Debt £27,196 24/8/13

I've got an M.O.T this week but have the money set aside for annual bills like this, insurance etc.
Do I have to count this as a spend day or is it a NSD if I don't spend anything else?
Blimey, I hope you know what I mean.
The posts on here are fab and I look forward to reading them.
I have all my foodstuff etc for the week and have bought all the milk, fruit and veg I'll need.
I bake my own bread and the cat has got enough food in too. Clever cat.
Hope everyone has a successful start to the week.NSK Zombie # SFD 7/15 Food Bank £0/£5
