PCN cancelled by Parcap Investments - give them a call to complain about Euro Parking Services at Chamberlain Buildings in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter (Tesco Express and Greggs area where Euro PS are issuing predatory tickets):

  • Parking Eye fine for 12min overstay (within Grace period) at St Augustin Way Grantham retail park cancelled by contacting South Yorkshire Pension Authority. First appeal to PE failed, then missed opportunity to appeal to POPLA. Received numerous different 'Baliff' company notifications with additional fees (Abuse of process) over 2 years, wish we had contacted landowner sooner!

The Landowner claims to be replacing the ticket machines with contactless card versions. There still remains the issue of inputting the correct car reg and given them the excuse to fire off the PCNs. I won't be using this car park needlesstosay on future visits. Keep up the great work.
Great win ........ when the government CoP becomes law, it's companies like CEL who are at severs risk of being kicked out of the industry and the DVLA..    We have great EXPECTATIONS for CEL

  • Saba cancelled my parking charge notice!
Parked in a railway station car park run by Saba and purchased a ticket using their app. Unfortunately, I missed that I was not in my default car and therefore bought the ticket for the wrong car. Appealed with the evidence, and they cancelled it :)

Did they?  SABA never do that.  Can you tell me the winning lottery numbers for this week please, if this is true?

AND - please now make a real difference - A TASK FOR SEPTEMBER.

The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms.  Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.

You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.

    https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/projects/2020-00193#/section

You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

    https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/913272/Code_Enforcement_Framework_consultation.pdf

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.

And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.

Please be heard.  You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting.

No apologies for repeating this vital 'call for action' to consumers, on every thread this month!

  • I have today been told that my car was parked in a blue bay at meadowhall after my partner came back to find a fine packet on the window of the car. We have a newborn baby & could not use parent parking as they were all full at the time. She had gone into meadowhall for baby food too, not that this matters now.
We dont have a blue badge & ill bet meadowhalls parking company have all their paperwork in order, so am wondering what to do next basically.
Should i just stump up the 60quid n be done with it. ?
I have read through the newbie thread & have not seen 1 case where meadowhall parking was found to have lost out, doesnt fill me with confidence either.

    Advise is much appreciated,
    Kind regards
    1 frustrated driver & dad.

I've already replied on your thread.  Parent and Child bays are not a right = they mean nothing.  Just a retail gimmick to capture your family's custom.

The top thread tells you what to do.

Please tell your wife never to park in a proper accessible bay unless she has a disabled person with her.
