This OP got G24 PCNs x 3 cancelled by emailing every retailer, whether the driver shopped there or not:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5433044

Just find the retail manager who hates private parking ticket and - Bingo!

Even months down the line, or almost a year like that OP.

    ALWAYS COMPLAIN TO RETAILERS.

Parking eye (hidden ANPR) at ALDI supermarket last month

Parking ticket through the post 16 days later, after triple-dipping that day but ANPR only caught 2 in/outs. Complained to ALDI as cashier and manager recognised me (I'm supposedly polite), customer service saw bank statement (did not keep reciepts) whom have cancelled, and will get Parkingeye to write to me too -added bonus

Thank you for creating the newbie guide!

ParkingEye parasites in a NHS car park - a call to the hospital complaints department led to a swift cancellation but why the heck do NHS Trusts think that £100 'fines' are a good/fair way to treat Doctors, Nurses, other staff, vulnerable patients and stressed visitors?:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5492229

''...speculative invoice from ParkingEye as RK of a car which they say overstayed the 20 minute drop off zone at a hospital. The driver was a doctor there for work, visiting from another hospital (i.e. not regular staff at that hospital). The hospital in question is having a new car park built and as such have a sign up on entry warning that there will be disruption while that is going on. The driver parked temporarily while speaking to reception about other parking options and warned the meeting they were attending they would be a bit late.''

  • Just successfully had a PCN cancelled from Highview Parking after 'overstaying' (double-dipped) in a Tesco Car Park (North Harbour Portsmouth).

Wrote a letter of complaint to Tesco's customer services in Dundee, not had a reply from them directly as of yet but after beginning to prep my POPLA appeal to Highview, a letter came from nowhere to say it had been cancelled.

If I get a reply from Tesco I'll post it up on here.

    Hi

I am very new to this and really don't know how to use the forum so hopefully not posting in the wrong place
I have just recd a PCN from Parking Eye for overstaying at Barney hospital where my friend had just received full understanding of her terminal brain tumour and life expectancy. We were standing next to my vehicle consoling her husband
Please can you advise me what I do now, it looks like maybe my first route is PALs at the hospital but I am a little confused on what I should do first and what I should say
The parking time would appear to be from when entering the carpark and not from when I finally was able to park in a space?
I understand my friends husband has recd two of these notices and one of my other friends visiting recd one as well who is sure she didn't stay longer than she paid, and my timing is longer than I thought, this is why I believe it was from entering the c/park
    Thank you
    Racquel

Just to add a contact email for Brewers Quay, who own the Weymouth P&D car park (Weymouth Old Town East), where ParkingEye infest it and send out far too many unfair £100 PCNs:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/71230053#Comment_71230053

The poster there says, contact Roger Dalton:

''I did attempt to complain to Weymouth Council this morning but they informed me that the car parking site is owned by Brewers Quay. Weymouth Council are correct in saying that they cant do anything because it is a private car park but Brewers Quay can because they own it and it is in their best interest to ensure that Weymouth (and specifically Brewers Quay) is not blacklisted by potential visitors like yourself.

I then contacted a Mr Roger Dalton (associated with the consortium who own Brewers Quay) he was concerned about reputation damage and the potential impact upon their business arising from disgruntled car park users. He has asked me to email him with details of my concerns so that he can escalate. Hopefully, this will result in pointed discussions with ParkingEye with regard to the terms of their contractual agreement ensuring a fairer and more reasonable approach to the management of this car park. It is worth noting that he was very very concerned about the potential impact upon their business.

Mr Dalton's email address is hello@rogerdaltonassociates.co.uk - I guess that the more people who email him about their experience, the more likely things are to change for the better''

I couldn't agree more. COMPLAIN about ParkingEye & co., to the landowners and retailers. It is the one sure-fire way to hopefully get contracts cancelled or not renewed.

Braehead Shopping Centre Glasgow, UKPC PCN cancelled (could have been ignored as it was in Scotland but the PCN was more unfair than most, and breached the Equality Act 2010):

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5515514

Retail owners INTU cancelled it without fuss.

    Cardiff Railway Station NCP.

NtD said "this ticket is available in Welsh on request"

This was requested, and ignored, so an appeal was put in in Welsh.

No response from NCP to the appeal, but the ticket now shows as cancelled.

    :-)
