Is OH being 'greedy'?

Actually it wasn't that he wouldn't let her watch a programme more that he made fun of it (I think it was BGT) and the OP had had enough and then practised her marital arts on him.
sorry, I howled with laughter at this! My OH would LOVE me to practice marital arts on him! but he got martial arts instead! and if you read the thread to the end you will know he apologised to me and explained he thought it funny to 'wind me up about BGT'! because he had 'had a few pints'.0 -

The OP has been very critical of her OH for years - the poor bloke can't ever seem to do anything right... Still it is her choice to stay and live with it!
I wonder what reception it would get if the OP was a man and bragging about how attacking his wife made her apologise to him!0 -

I'm glad you find it funny.0 -
You don't like me Treevo - that's fine. just stop bring up that old thread every time I post a new one?0

I didn't see you say you ate your main meal at 1pm. If you had I wouldn't have thought you were eating at 6.
To be fair I've seen few people have a go at you, the majority of posts have been supportive. And a few people were firmly on your side.0 -

That's the 'revision of history' thread.
The 'as it happens' threads were very different. Your inability to remember the latter theads has always made me wonder how much you'd had to drink that night too.
I'm sure that this thread has been tough reading for you. Yet, I wonder how your husband would feel if he had the opportunity to read every post you have ever written about him.
You have criticised him for his choice in gifts, the way he buys flowers for you when you're out shopping together in the supermarket, the fact that he didn't buy flowers for you when you were out shopping together in the supermarket.
The guy doesn't seem to be able to catch a break.
So many of your threads about your husband's actions, or your DIL's actions (not the DIL who's married to the son who posts on here - well generally not about them) do seem to be about an inability to communicate effectively.
In the fallout from 'that night', you talked about getting some kind of couples counselling or therapy. I don't know if you did or if you didn't actually get any kind of help. It's probably still a good idea if you want to stay in the marriage.
Especially if you're still in the mindset that you were once going to get divorced, but stayed together because the kids wanted it.0 -
Edit. Not worth it.0

The words, mountain and Molehill come to mind.....0

He sounds like he has a healthy appetite, if I'd had to see my gp every time I wanted a second helping of curry I'd have had a bed made up in the waiting room.0

OK - none of you have any idea of what I live through day to day - you prefer to attack me.
I am asking the mods to delete or lock this thread. which is a shame because many people offered me good advice. and I have taken their advice on board.
I asked a question on a specific subject and some people have turned it into a personal attack - I don't need that, my life is stressful enough. So I think this should be the end.0
