  • I've got these two pairs of knickers from Primani - they look a hideous grey (courtesy of my washing machine that doesn't always get rid of the dirty water). But they're the boy short, no VPL, really easy to wear-type that, guess what - they don't make anymore. So, they're great under trousers.
    !

Thank god I am not the only one who can't find the boy short knickers anymore.:rotfl: (I call them girl boxers)

I have hunted high and low and am stuck with the few pairs I have left. The only ones you can get now are too low cut at the front and don't hold me in:rotfl:

Can someone please hunt some down and let us know?

Maybe I should import them I would make a killing:money:

My type are almost sheer mesh at the back and no elastic at the legs, so that's why I like them under trousers - no VPL. I just came across them at Primani one day and grabbed a couple of pairs and thought 'I'll get more if they work out'. Never seen them since.

I tried a similar style from M&S with the inbuilt elastic in the waist. Well, didn't they work their way down beneath my buttocks PDQ, despite the fact I was wearing them with trousers. Most uncomfortable!

Maybe we can start making them and get the money for ourselves. There's obviously a market out there for the style.
  • I've never had any of these knicker shorts from primarni and feel like i've missed out now :p I had 2 pairs from m@talan BUT they were awful. Low cut at the front so belly hung over & riding up at the back :o ! The only redeeming feature on them was they had a nice picture on ...kermit frog ....hahaha!

  • Morning!

Done the ironing to get it out of the way :T. Put a wash on and tidied the kitchen. I'm done for today now ;):rotfl:. I've just checked the bank and the dps money is in :j:j. But I don't want to transfer it to savings just yet as we are so short this month i'm thinking "what if I need it". So I will pretend it's not there and carry on as normal and see how I go. I desperately want to put it all into savings though so I will tell DH it's already gone so he doesn't mentally spend it three times over like i usually do :o:D.

I've called up about my policy that is maturing as i've not received the paperwork yet! This is twice it's gotten lost in the post now :(. So the lady has emailed it to me to print off. Thing is I don't have a printer :o so I need to go find somewhere to do that in a bit! Will post it back to them recorded I think even though it costs a lot I don't want it all going missing again like their post seems to! That money is definitely going to the savings though ;).

The dog wants a walk and it's sunny today so will take him off out after i've sorted out the printer issues! I really must get a printer...........!

Won't be a NSD as it's youth club night but that is budgeted for and only £2 for 2 kids so it's sort of a nsd as money is put aside and definitely a LSD ;)

:rotfl: never too late to butt into a knicker chat :rotfl:pun intended in my rubbish attempts to make a joke :p

I honestly feel like i'm still in debt sometimes and i've no idea why  I daren't spend any money and when I do I feel such guilt for it :o. Suppose a little nervousness is good, think I would like to loosen up just a little though!

P.s recycling bins have arrived! I don't have a huge kitchen diner anyway so they have now been put in the garden, the old bin removed and the kitchen has more space :T I also ordered a pack of 3 because it worked out cheaper, but I only needed two so I used the third in the front porch to put wellies in :). They were in an old toy box before and overflowing everywhere so now they are in a much bigger box with a lid so looks much tidier :T.

I should be getting my wages today so I'm going to check spreadsheets and see how much I need for the rest of the month and transfer whatever is left over to savings :) Be back later to report how much!

All that went right over my head too..
Which is a first; have several idiosyncrasies, but wearing knickers on head ain't one of 'em. :rotfl:

Know what you mean. After years of scrimping and being nervous every time a bank letter arrives, it's very hard not to worry about non-essential spends when finances aren't so dire any more. :o

This spend sounds well worth it - I still shudder when recollecting the mountain of coats, wellies and dog-towels we used to have dumped in the porch.

  • Wages paid, hoping my maths isn't too bad as I've topped emergency fund up by £150 and also put £250 into ISA :j:j hoping to add more as month goes on though :T watch this space ....
