Hi hun,
Heavens I missed you posts yesterday, sorry about that.
I think the RS!CA woman has a lot to do with making your situation so horrendous, but how were you to know that they knew someone in that branch..Grrrrr. Good to hear she has been sacked though.
Like Robin said, thank heavens Dh was home, I wouldn't worry too much about your Ds, I am sure he will manage, and staying in that house with all this tension and upset won't be doing him much good anyway.. I moved school during my last year, about 3 months before my GCSE's and I did fine.
I do hope something comes up soon, It's quite a good idea to have that contract drawn up about not speaking, because then if she starts on at you again, she is definitly in the wrong.
don't suppose you have a record function on your phone, would be quite handy to be able to record any future ranting from her as evidence of her insanity. Not sure how thing would be done without her noticing though, so probably a non starter.
So sad to hear that it is effecting your health so badly, although I am not surprised. Maybe try some meditation to try to calm your system down or wine :T xxxx0 -
:grouphug: Thank you Granny & Robin
I've seen her this morning she's suitably subdued for my liking :T As we never went to the welfare with a barrage of complaints in retaliation to her last lot of nonsense I don't think she was expecting us to do it yesterday. I think she feels a bit of a pratt really. She left for the school run 20 mins earlier than the gates open so she didn't bump into me :T long may this continue!
I'm not sure how the lady at the welfare found out before us about the r$pca outcome but my internet has been unstable (like her) over the last week so i've not religiously checked emails to be honest (which I am off to do after here).
After sleeping on it I feel the same way as I did yesterday and if she's shouted at one of my kids it's my duty to put a stop to it, end of story. I'm not sorry for what I did and I happily told the welfare lady exactly what I'd said, so in my eyes I've followed procedure, i'm not lying and i'm not starting fights (albeit it I did engage in the argument with her but with good reason ).
Dh is asking about a move up to Yorkshire, it's the same job as he does here and also closer to where we eventually want to buy, so when we do go off and get our own house it will be a smaller commute each weekend for him to get home (by at least 100 miles), so all in all could be a good move :T.
I've missed several emails from homestart, they flashed up on my phone on the school run but I couldn't open them so I will go and read those as well although I think I could probably do with their help- not me giving the help right now:rotfl:.
I had £10 in cash for food to last until Friday and I have just spend £2.50 of it on some spread for toast/ sandwiches (local shop doesn't sell butter?!) and loo rolls. You would not believe how many loo rolls I get through in a week :eek::eek::eek:. I am thinking of giving the kids an allocated amount of loo roll off the roll each time they go as I'm sure they don't need half a roll for their little bums each time :rotfl::eek:.Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. My friend also suggested the record function on the phone...but i'm not sure how to use itWould have to practice that one before she started again and then probably ask her to stop whilst I got it out and working :rotfl: could picture the looks now though :rotfl:
We're waiting to hear from the rmps now about the contract. After her threatening not only my daughter but the dog as well I want it done asap. Finally got to catch up on emails and banking :T. I've £1.05 in my current account . Let's hope nothing disastrous happens before Friday!!
I've checked my DPS, there are no deposits showing on there anymore  and it doesn't say whether or not they are paying me the deposit i've tried to claim or whether she did dispute it and they've paid her?? I'm not sure where to look either so will check out their Q&A section in a bit !
No email from r$pca but replied to the homestart ones they are ready to pair me up already with a family :T (feel a little nervous thinking about this now!) So i need to get over there Friday or Monday to give them my i.d so they can do the police checks(I can't get over before as petrol is empty
).
Right now i've done all the admin bits I will go and catch up with some of youMortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. A-£200, S- £221.34. O-£200EF- £642.41/500

Look on today as a good day after all, you could have panicked about your estimated short fall but instead you did your budget and found the situation isn't as bleak as you thought. You are in a really good place financially for the first time in ages and should be so proud of what you have achieved
I hope the rest of the week goes as well

. All because I had another run in with the neighbour. This time she was caught (by me) shouting at my DD about feeding her dog. My daughter had a bookbag in one hand and a closed lunchbag in the other
. We had a huge row, I totally lost it and started screaming and shouting and calling her crazy. Swore in front of the kids as she frustrated me so much and just generally probably made an idiot of myself but she is such a liar and making up totally random things all the time. Telling one of my kids off and shouting at them though is bang out of order and I will not tolerate this. She also threatened to feed my dog something (from the tone and grimace on her I am thinking it's not going to be cheese or meat as the dog would like
) I'm beyond fed up. DH has gone to our welfare this morning as no doubt she has about me threatening her this morning (I threatened to go and shut her door if she wasn't going to do it herself as she would not shut up!) DH is looking into a transfer again. This will mean disrupting DS1 in his GCSE's which is what I have been trying to avoid but for weeks now I have felt anxiety attacks coming on at the slightest thing and I'm not sure how much more I can take now. I feel bullied and like everything has been twisted around to make me out to be something i'm not.
Sorry for the rant. Needed it
oh honey...this is carp. But looks like OH, police etc are being sensible and trying to get a permanent solution. It will be OK I am sure and kids are resilient.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

If the money is not showing then it is on it's way to you.
If the former tenant had disputed you having the money then DPS will ask more questions and mediate between you. They do not just send the money to the former tenant.
Maybe it will land today:T
Excellent news about Homestart - it will be so rewarding for you:T0 -

Thank you EE :T I couldn't find any help on their q&a bit so was just waiting with hope really that she hadn't disputed. It's not in there yet but it's all allocated for savings so there's no rush for it
Thanks for replying as I was a little worried there!
