  • Yes seems fate is taking a hand! I was watching tv yesterday and 5 times the new town's name popped up?! It's very strange....if it's meant to be though why are we having such a pain in trying to secure a house :rotfl: we will miss the car lots it was very comfy, high spec and looked way nicer than the little one :o but it was getting very expensive to just do small jobs that kept recurring never mind the ones that need doing but we couldn't afford (or thought it wasn't worth doing). I have just spoken to the car insurance to swap insurance over too and i'm not very pleased. It's cost me an extra £75 to insure the new one? I don't get it??? However overall it will still work out cheaper so I can't complain! The money we got from the scrap man will cover that and the new tyre it needs. Still waiting on the call back from the estate agents (the most elusive people on the planet it seems whom you can never get hold of...and that goes for all of them not just one particular place!)

Estate agents? ..You're going for a purchase straight away then?

If not, EAs are probably the worst place to search for a rental, given that you've got a dog..
  • Afternoon!
Having a rest, haven't stopped since I last posted! Been to stay on my dads boat, off to see my mum and sister on Tuesday and caught up with friends :)
I've decided that with my move I'm going to have a bit of a furniture spring clean. I'm selling sofas, tables and one of my dressers! I fancy new (or new to me will do lol!) I've already sold my table and chairs, an old bookcase and a set of leather bound books ... Call it a Kon Mari of furniture I'm bored of! And an attempt to go a little more minimalistic! Still have lots for sale...hoping it goes in the next few weeks as I'll be off beginning of September to sleep on my sisters floor if house hasn't been sorted by then (we've put in for house awaiting lots of checks etc so won't say too much until it's definite!) I'm looking forward to my new adventure even if it's starting on my sisters floor :) !
Hope everyone is well on here I wish you were all on FB it's so much easier to catch up with everyone there :p I'll be back though with hopefully more regularity once we've moved as I'll be needing to set budgets etc for the new place!
