Hello all,
I'm super tired again today, think I might have to up my Vitamin C intake as feeling very under the weather all the time lately! I had my course this morning and it went well, one of the ones who goes that drives me mad with stupid useless questions wasn't there today :T and the other one was getting on everyone's nerves. We've got to the point now where she will go off on a tangent and we all take turns in cutting her off to explain she's in fact misunderstood again and that wasn't the point being made at all so she needn't get her knickers in a twist over it
.
I went off to a new shop opening today (big catalogue store) and found it hadn't opened properly. The poor harrassed looking staff were sent outside in the cold to tell customers it had been delayed (again!) but that we could order stuff if we knew what we wanted and they had erected a makeshift tent with a till :rotfl: it was quite funny really. The customers didn't seem to mind though and I got what I wanted (eventually  -apparently everything was all over the place inside!) and off I went! I've now bought for all nieces and nephews aside from one! What I wanted for the last child was out of stock everywhere within a 30 mile radius . Back to the drawing board I think! Oh and as a side note, I bought Ken (for DD's doll house) and he seems to have lost 10 years, am wondering if Ken was not meant to be 30 but in fact 18 because he looks very young, and has a dodgy haircut:eek: (I much prefer my rock star ken from my childhood :rotfl:) I wonder if he's had plastic surgery to make him seem younger :rotfl:???
Not a nsd as I had to add £1 to the vouchers I had as otherwise I wouldn't have got change and would have wasted money . I am also supposed to be attending a class tonight with my meditation buddies but I am so tired and really struggling with this heavy headed feeling today that i'm thinking of calling off sick.
Tonight's dinner is slow cooked chicken, mash & veg. The kids are going to make some chocolate cornflake cakes when they get home so that is their activity for today and tomorrow I am yet to think of something for them to do (hate hate hate this weather! They all want to play out not sit in all the time!) and I think it will be HM pizza as I have pepperoni in the fridge and lots of cheese. Then Friday is payday :T Thank gawd as I am running out of everything!!!!!!Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. I spat it out and poor DS started crying his eyes out because I didn't like it ...so I found a tiny non mouldy bit and ate it *yuk* the things we do for kids! I think I made myself sick after as I couldn't get the awful furry taste from my mouth :(_pale_ yukyukyuk! I let him make me a new one from fresh bread though as I really felt awful for spitting it out :rotfl:poor boy!
Reminds me of DCs attempt at mother's day breakfast when they were little. A shout from DD, oh how do I get the cheese to stick to the toast, prompted a look of confusion from me. She was only trying to toast the cheese in the toaster and when the 1st lot fell to the bottom, tried again. Nothing I could do to rescue the toaster, resulting in a trip to the shops to buy a new one.
Hope you are feeling better today and the deep clean of carpets works

Oh no granny! Made me laugh (a lot- sorry
)
I've been up since 6 am unfortunately (hate early DARK mornings!) I've got an extra kid who arrived at 6.30 as his brother is off for an operation (nothing serious) so i've had my ears talked off already and calm has finally restored just as i'm about to welcome the other 3 !
Payday tomorrow so a NSD today for sure as I don't want to touch anything else in the bank (aside from the 77p i spent on a kindle book last night*shhh*)

Evening! Well that is November done with (by my spreadsheet, we start December tomorrow
payday :j). I've just totted up my savings this month and i'm super duper pleased with it
I managed to save my usual amounts in the regular savers for emergencies etc but I saved £997.73 in my ISA :j I have scoured my accounts to make up the extra £2 something to make it a round £1k :rotfl: but alas there is no extra! I've still for £50 in my current account for the cheque (which is pending for tomorrow) and the £20 cheque due out will have to come out of December's budget now as I spent what I had put aside for it
. Overall though after all my ups and downs and dramas
(so sorry i really am a bit of a drama queen
) I've gotten through the month and am glad to see the back of it if i'm honest!
I've tried calling my contact for the house all day and finally got through only an hour ago but the carpets have come up lovely aside from one stain that won't budge (but has faded) also the walls are looking much better after a thorough clean and we're hoping to get away with not decorating it. I've emailed the letting agents and hope to hear back tomorrow. But i've instructed him to go ahead and visit and report back on what he thinks and if good to go we can market it asap :j. Costs so far to house:£10 cleaning items, £50 for carpet cleaner:T Let's hope it stays at that
I'm about to go through the spreadsheets for December with a fine tooth comb looking for money to save in the ISA :rotfl: I am desperate to get to £3k before 2014 and with my wage cut and no rental income it will be pretty hard but I am determined to find it.

Thank youAnd i'm not quite sure what happened to the carpets as I was told there were holes cut out of them and all sorts *confused* but it seems not now? I've decided to ask as little as possible and get the agent over to have a look, i'm sure he won't lie to me if it's still in an unrentable (is that a word?) condition!
