looks like this seller is no longer on ebay.
is it important to have a G-shock feature on a dash cam?

electoponline365 is still showing as an international seller on my eBay.
Is yours just committed to UK sellers?

No G-shock feature on this, in the event of a shunt it will continue to record and will not 'overwrite' until its SD card is full, then it will start to record over the first file (I think that mine is about 5 hours).

NB you can set each file to last a certain amount of time (mines 5 minutes), when each file is full it will then automatically start to record another - again, it will not erase the previous file.

    .

ah yes it might have been on UK sellers.

How does the Mobius attach to windscreen with the suction cup or the double side sticky band? Does Mobius cover night vision? as it does not state a night vision lens

night vision is usually just infra-red LED's added. Totally useless inside a car.

Yout need a lens with a large aperture. Check the reviews on youtube. techmoan usually does a night time drive and comments on the quality.

Suction cup - please watch techmoans video for night vision on this,
    it really is rather good!
  • Just to add I have the Mobius 1080, bought from ebay, shipped from the states I think! - Really quick posting, about 2 weeks. Cannot remember the name of the seller.
I have it on a suction cup and it hides nicely behind my rear view mirror.
It does cope with night time very well. As above, techmoan does a brilliant review!

thanks for the tips..sounds like Mobius is a higly recommended product, before i order does it come with long cable to reach around the windscreen? If not can one order a fine (thin) enough USBA-B cable that can be squeezed between the edge of the windscreen?
Also how much did you pay for your 32gb class 10 card?
  • It did not come with a long cable, it did however come with an extra bag of cables, one for connecting it to USB just with power, one for connecting Audio out and one for video out. I cut the power cable and added a long section of 2 core cable to hide around the roof lining, down the left A post, underneath the glovebox, and just have the usb connector coming out of the transmission tunnel close to my cig lighter. I have since added a 4 way adapter from the cig lighter, with a USB power out, and 3 more cig lighter sockets for sat nav etc.

I bought a 32 gig micro sd card from "the online shop that overpacks everything". About £20.

I can add pics and video clips if people want.

Check the SD card to make sure its genuine...

There are simple tools to check the genuine speed and capacity of the cards.

    h2testw.exe is one.

The cable supplied will not be long enough for that but you can get USB cable in 3 or 5 metre lengths on Ebay for £1.99.
