    Hey Silly

When I first started running I used an app too, I think it was called run keeper. I'm a bit fancy nowadays and have a garmin sports watch. It was bought when training for my first half marathon and I love it! Wasn't cheap though but if your gonna get serious definitely worth it. The apps are great to, especially for finding new places to run.

I'm LOVING new iOS! It does feel like a brand new phone. It's the little things that I love, like how the calendar icon now actually shows today's date instead of just 25 like it always used to. Also loving the new control centre and being able to swipe away apps in multi-tasking. Hubby's got his updated now so we've been like a couple of apple fan boys playing around with it!

I hate it when iTunes does that!!! Especially when you've only got limited memory on your phone. I've got mine all set up now though so it only syncs things when I tell it too. :T

Well it's slightly earlier than yesterday but nothing is moving me from under this lush warm blankie so I'm officially claiming today a NSD!!!! :j:j:j this means I've hit my September target! Woo hoo! Still going to try for another 5 though.
  • Congrats on hitting your target! :D I was hoping for another one tomorrow but I need to go out and get ingredients for fudge so it's off the cards now. Oh well! :P

Ive been so busy reading and posting on other diaries I have neglected my own!

No NSD yesterday as we had our usual Friday chips. Popped out on my lunch break yesterday to watch the Tour of Britain to through and nearly got run over! Was really cool though and a few of my colleagues were part of the entourage so it was cool to watch them too. There were so many police bikes (motor) and they were all putting their sirens on and waving as they went through. Very cool.

Today will be quite and hopefully a NSD. I've got the eggless chocolate cake in the oven, hound curled up on the sofa and hubby at work for a couple more hours, so it's all very quiet and serene! :D

My eBay auctions are pretty quiet. I've had lots of emails about the bunting I've listed offering me stupid prices but only a couple of low bids. :( I'm hoping that as the interest is there in the last days they'll get some more bids coming in.

I hit one of the thresholds on my surveys which was £10 but when I looked the £10 vouchers they had were all for places I don't shop. :( they do have an amazon voucher but that one is £15 so I've left the money there and going to wait till I hit £15 so I can get the amazon voucher which I can use at Christmas for presents.

So that's it really at the moment. Oh what a thrilling life I lead!

Hiya wegle! I love PJs and blankets too and they are cheaper than turning on the heating.....I am resisting, I am resisting! I want to at least get to the end of October!

Fingers crossed for a NSD. Dont think we'll be going anywhere. Plus we have got some serious gusts of wind here today so I'd rather just stay home and chill out! Have a peaceful Sunday, wegle! :)

    Hello all

Time for my usual Monday round up.

The weekend has been pretty dull in all honesty. Both hubby and I are definitely just counting down the days until pay day. And as the weather has changed quite a bit we're definitely getting more into staying in and curling up on the sofa! I made C-Rs eggless chocolate cake which was delicious and also did some bread baking. I need to get back into baking bread more often. I used to do it all the time, but got lazy recently. I’m going to try and do at least one loaf a week.

My eBay sales are due to end tonight. Nearly everything has bids on and I think I should make around £15. Fingers crossed!! I haven't managed to find anything else to list yet, so I need to get organised and get rifling through the spare room!

Hubby is on night shifts from tonight so I have left him and the hound curled up in bed together this morning! I was pretty jealous as they looked so snuggly and it was all dark and misty but hey ho, got to get up and earn the pennies.

I start back at college tomorrow, I go one day a week. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone, but not looking forward to all the work that I’ll have to do. I’ll be really glad when it’s all over and I don’t have to do anymore studying. There is however already talk of me topping up my HND to a degree but I’m not really sure I could face it. It would mean travelling to Bristol one day a week, and having already done one degree which I did full time, I know how much work would be involved. I’ll have to think about it, but at the moment I’m pretty sure I don’t want to do it.

Other than that there’s not much to report in the Wegle world so time for the challenges tot up.

    No Spend Challenge

My best week so far on NSDs. 5 NSDs!!!! Woo hoo!! It’s put me over my target and I’m going for at least 3 more to bring me up to 15 for the month. I’m pretty confident that with careful planning next month I should be able to get this a bit higher as well.

    Sealed Pot Challenge

Managed £2.50 into the pot this week. Not mega bucks, but this is a long term challenge so even though the amounts going in are small I’m happy that it is adding up.

    Make £10 a Day

Managed to add £3 to this. Definitely not my best challenge and I was upset as I thought I had hit one of the thresholds on 2 of my survey sites but the first one didn’t have that value of voucher I would use so I’m having to wait till that gets higher and the other says you need a certain amount of points to get £10 which I have got, but in order to redeem any points you need to have a much bigger amount!!! Grrrr!!!! So I’m going to have to wait a bit longer there as well. At least when I do hit it, I will get a nice big payout!

    100% Challenge

Still my favourite challenge and after paying off a further £9.56 from eBay sales I’m up to 6.01%. I’ve still got £286.55 hidden away in my holding account ready to pay off the CC on Sunday so once this is done I will be up to 12.15%!!! Also will have some more eBay sales to add to this. My target was 10% by November so I should smash this and be well on my way to the next target of 20% by the end of December.

    To Sum Up

Total amount Paid to Credit Card: £208.32
Total amount Paid to Loan: £44.63
Total amount Paid to Overdraft: £27.88
Amount of Personal Spending: £38.41 (down on last week and had to pay out for birthday cards, gifts and postage so really chuffed with this!)

I’m going to be updating my amounts paid on my signature on the 5th of each month. My loan payment comes out on the 1st and my CC statement is on the 4th, so if I update on the 5th each month I will have an accurate idea of where I am.

Getting a few bids in now on the eBay stuff! Whoop whoop!

One week till payday..... it can't come soon enough! This month has been very long, and whilst I'm not looking forward to payday so that I can spend money, I just want there to be some movement on the debt front. I can tell I'm going to find it hard just waiting between pay days when I can make the sizeable payments.

I'm not lacking motivation really as I'm totally committed to getting this paid off, I just guess I want it to be done!

In other news... The owner of the bridal shop where I bought my wedding dress phoned me today to ask if I would do some modelling for them at a show on November 9th!! Really looking forward to doing that! I didn't ask if it was paid or anything. Oops! If it is that will be a bonus, because I just know it will be great fun, so even if it isn't paid I'll still have a wicked time doing it and it won't cost me anything!

In other good news, I added up my NSDs wrong and I'm actually on 13!!!
  • Well done on a brilliant round up and how exciting to be doing some modelling! Hope you have an amazing time doing it! And 13 NSDs, unlucky number for some but not for you today! :D

I haven't managed to put much in my sealed pot either but I'm tending not to use actual cash and just spend on my card when I need to! Not sure drawing cash out works for me because if the money's in my pocket, I feel like it's available to spend! But the pots will grow bit by bit :) x
