  • Congrats on Number 9 Wegle!

I'm aiming to get a few the next two days as no work now, just plenty of eBaying! :D

I'm having trouble with the new iOS update too, it's saying 3 hours remaining now though, but keeps changing, was at 20 hours remaining a short while ago. Fingers crossed it'll be done before I go to sleep as it looks really swish!

Well done wegle! You are so dedicated - wish I was better at NSDs but there always seems to be something necessary. I guess it's all proof that one approach doesnt work for everyone - I can't make headway with the surveys or NSDs like you do but other things work well for me. Just gotta figure out the things that propell us forward! :)

My best mate has already been on FB complaining about the latest IOS update so you are not alone. She's a techie nut and I am not. My motto goes something like, 'If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it' and so I find myself with a whole host of apple gadgets that are on God knows what IOS because I just don't care! They only get updated when hubby can't stand it any more! :D

  • hey wegle!

just had to drop in and say 9 NSDs is brilliant! isn't it horrible how every day there is a little something trying to claw at you saying 'buy me, buy me' but the satisfaction of a NSD is great! I had my 10th today!!! Aiming for the 18 but that means I can only schedule 4 more SPENDING DAYS this month!!!!! wowee!!! Looking at it that way it's a bit more scary but everyone loves a challenge!!!!! hell yeah!! :j

get out the jim-jams - I'll be living in mine for the next 12 days to stop me spending!!!!!! :rotfl:

is this the new iOS that makes all the buttons look different? :) Do tell us if it's worth the upgrade!!!! :D

loving your list for tackling those debts btw! :D
have a good evening - it's a perfect night for sitting in pjs on the sofa browsing the net!!!

    xx

The one thing I love about winter is being able to get into jammies really early and curl up on the sofa under the blankie!! :rotfl:

New iOS is pretty swish. I like it so far, just need to work out how it all works. Made a mistake last night of changing the sound of my alarm as there are loads of new ones. Result: this morning I slept through it and didn't get to work till an hour later than I usually do! Oops! Thank god for flexi time!

On track for another NSD today, already in the jammies and hubby is too!:rotfl:

I really feel like I'm just counting down the days until payday now, which is getting pretty frustrating . The good news is for once I'm not counting it down because I'm skins but because I want to make more debt repayments and I want to update my totals!

So plan for this evening is eat tea, put some tunes on and read diaries on here! Oh the thrilling life of a DFW. :p I did take the hound out for a good run which felt great. I'm not looking forward to the winter months though. I usually have a gym membership and when it gets dark and cold do my running on the treadmill but this year it'll be sticking to the good ole free outdoors! hound and I already have high viz coats for running in so we've got no excuse not to keep up with it. I am looking forward to being able to join the gym again though, I used to really enjoy the classes like step aerobics and kettle bells so that's another thing to look forward to for next year.

Surveys have been so quiet this week but one bit of good news. I came home to a letter from one company with my payment for doing one of their surveys. £3 in vouchers which can be used in loads of places, in particular Tesco though! So whoop! I'm going to add that to my £10 a day challenge.
  • Congrats on the NSD wegle!

I'm determined to start running daily soon. I've got an app on my iphone called MapMyRun and it uses GPS to give you nearby routes and stuff to run on. You can then add these routes and follow them. Pretty cool! Can see what routes other people have run on too and it's a free app. You can pay extra for premium features but not really necessary!

I only wish I'd started a few months ago when the weather was decent!

How are you finding iOS 7 by the way? I think I actually love it a little bit. Feels like I have a new phone but in another way, it doesn't take too much getting used to! And it looks gorgeous on an iPad!

I was pretty annoyed though as I had to plug my iPad into my computer to update via itunes and it proceeded to put all the apps I had deleted a while ago back on my iPad. So it took about 10 minutes going through deleting each one.
