  • Evening all.

I actually managed a run before work this morning! I also walked to and from work so am rather tired tonight.

Packed lunch as usual, and no alcohol.

Did spend today - £1.49 on food.

    New totals are:

    Food - £31.93/£100
    Misc - £25.70/£120
    Petrol - 0/£70

Catching up on my cross stitching tonight - and looking at Christmas cards I can cross stitch.

Hoping for a SFD tomorrow - fingers crossed I will manage it!

Check in again tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good day.
  • Spend day. £6.80 at Sainsbugs mostly on yellow sticker all bar milk and bananas were reduced.

Another low spend day. I'm finding its only on items like chewing gum and the odd bag of crisps... Think I need to incorporate them into my big shop instead if popping to corner shop at work.

    No alcohol.

    Rest day on exercise.

Thought the tesco near me had a food bank but it seems to have vanished! I'll do the text to Trussell at some point.

Will need to spend my £10 on beauty on my eyebrows soon.
  • Check you all out getting your free Lattes. Doesn't help being a non-milk consuming coffee hater... lol!. Lillian congrats on your prize.. Super well done! I find that when you are in the money-saving mind-set little things like this fall into place just when you need them...

SFD for me yesterday and today again hopefully... Still got loads of things to do at work. Will they ever learn that MSE is more important...hahahahahahahaaaaa!

Anyway moving on... check in from home later perhaps...

    Onwards and Upwards!!!

    Morning all
    SFD - 7/18 (including today)
    Beauty spends - £0/£10
Food bank - £3/£3 (to Trussell Trust via text)
Packed lunches - 8/13 (on hols for a week)
Holiday spends - £0/£80 (go week of 16th September)
    Fun spends - £80/£120
    Alcohol free days - 10/23

Hope everyone is ok. Had a spend day yesterday as I needed to get DS some cosy pyjamas for our holiday next week (weather forecast not great!) but then saved money using McDonalds voucher and the free frappe for our tea. Also took the money for the PJs from Christmas savings so will have to reimburse that from next month's wage.

Hoping for a SFD today, and probably an alcohol free one as DS was awake in the night so I'm shattered, but I won't record it yet as I usually have a glass of wine while watching Smash/Apartment 23/Mindy Project/90210 (Thursday is my TV catch up night!)

Brought lentil dahl (such a cheap recipe, it's here if anyone wants to see, makes LOADS) that I made yesterday morning for lunch today, all other food from stores (fish, wedges and peas for tea).

Going to enter some more competitions today - feeling lucky!
