  • Afternoon all.. I had a busy but SFD Tuesday at a friends photojournalism exhibition for her MBA.. I think... Some epic pictures, some not so epic from other exhibitors. The winner of a year's employment with Getty images did her piece on squatting.. .there was a quote on her book that people couild read... "The less we desire and want, the happier our lives become"... pictures on FB soon of my favourite..

Working like a loon today so will have to check in later tonight. Hopefully with another SFD under my belt..

Will need to do a grocery shop on Saturday, so currently doing a detailed online price comparison (by hand not automated) for all the items I need (from rough meal plan) and make up my lists accordingly for my three major stores Tesco, Asda and LIDL to get the crack down on the food budget started. It's quite time consuming to get exactly like for like (which the automated sites don't do and it's surpeising that not one supermarket is just cheaper, you have to totally mix and match to get the overall best deal (without wasting fuel). Glad I'm not too busy at work today ;)

  • Forgive me. I think I need to buy a fern / bullrush / bamboo or something equally as enormous to sit on my desk so I no longer have to look at my line manager who is sitting directly in front of me. It might be worth breaking an SFD for. Do you think he might realise my aim..?

I don't - it was a Mumsnet Facebook competition. I'm going to start looking at the comps again though as I have been lucky this week (also won a Warburtons prize).
