  • Its become a competition in our family. So far my sister received £71,mum £276.I laughed when dad got £41 and then poor me got £19.Thats the lowest Ive seen on this whole site forum:D
  • Hi,

Iv sent off my form however the letter implied I may have been misold card protection. The yearly payment I was paying until I realised and cancelled was £80 which suggests it would have been the ID protection? I vaguely (it was nearly 10 years ago) remember the conversation in NatWest including id fraud.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Should I be making a separate claim or was the same letter sent for both card and id protection claims?

My mum got two seperate letters and had to complete with different reasons as to why she had been mis sold.Does your letter mention id protection. If its doesnt then its just the card protection letter that you have received

Just about to fill out my letter, but a bit unsure as to what I had. All I remember having was the card, driving license, passport and key protection, where you had the little key fobs in case they were found with Natwest

Looking back at some old Natwest statements from 2004-2005 which all show an entry of either 'Payment Protection' or 'Credit Card Repayment Protector' and the sum varies depending on the balance of the credit card. They also show an entry for August 2004 and August 2005 for 'Card Protect' at £15 and £20 respectively.

I'm thinking this 'Card Protect' is for the Card Protection Plus scheme which protects all documents such as keys but I'm not sure if the other varying amount is the same, as that to me seems to be some form of PPI based on the balance value. Therefore I'm unsure whether I'm claiming for one or two products.

I'm also sure that I had these products for more that 2 years but if's the only statements that I can find.

It just mentions card protection but I know they were charging me 80 a year. Perhaps I will call tomorrow and ask for a form for I'd protection.
  • Thanks MSE received £61 back from CPP

I received my cheques in the last few days but my question is this. Can I claim additional interest that I paid as the cost was always taken via my credit card account with no other option. I was a minimum repayment customer as well so I am probably more out of pocket than the 8% covers.

Did you progress this? I too had the premiums taken from my credit card, so I believe there should be interest due too. Also in one year it out me over limit, so other fees were incurred too. Can these be claimed from CPP, or do I bank the cheque from CPP, and claim from the card provider?
Any help would be great :-)

I've stupidly lost the envelope to send the claim back. Does anyone have one handy so they can give the address to me please?

    Thanks....

  • My husband and I received cheques for the refund of CPP premiums but tax was deducted and I do not pay tax. The form said I could possibly reclaim it but I cannot find out how to do this. Can anyone advise
