    Does the claim form have to be completed in hand writing or may I put the claim form in a computer printer?

    Does it have to be in capitals even if from a computer?

    The process does not feel accessible!

    Why not ring them and ask them directly?

    :T Tesco wrote to me in August last year and I just left the letter in a pile of papers as I thought it would be a waste of time doing anything as it was such a long time ago. Well I was wrong. A couple of weeks ago I decided to filled out the form Tesco had sent me; also taking some advise from Martins website.:money: This morning result :jI received a letter sayin that Tesco had been unable to confirm that I had been given sufficient information when I added the protection and I was entitled a refund of £559.13. Thanks! Martin.

    You should write to the bank now and just explain what you're claiming for and why. They will know about the CPP Redress Scheme.
    I did back in December 2013, for the period 1993 - 2004 and received a letter from Santander stating the CPP redress process (which I already knew from the CPP forms etc.) I specifically stated in the letter to Santander that I was pursuing compensation from 1993 - 2004.
    <fobbed off by santander>
    It's now in the hands of FOS for the redress from 1993 - 2004 which Santander unfairly sold me in 1993. If it was not in the premises of Abbey National/ Santander and under the bad advice of the bank teller, I would not have even bought it. An Update will come in time..

    Has anyone heard anything from CPP yet or received any money after filling in the forms?

    If they had, I suspect they'd have posted here ;)

    No, but I notice my Direct Debit has disappeared from my list of DD's with my bank.

    I think the first letters (with the compensation forms) reached people about the middle of Feb. Add 8 weeks to that (if said people sent the forms back within a day or two), we are probably looking at mid April, at the earliest. So, some lucky ex-CPP customers might be getting a bit of extra spending money for Easter... ;)
  • Hello,
    My Aunt received one of the standard letters & form from ccp, we have filled it out but she can't find the return envelope. Does anyone know what the correct address is to send this back?

    I received a rambling two page 'standard' letter from HSBC rejecting my claim for premiums paid to CPP for CardGuard before 2005. The letter stated that the CPP literature was clear when I purchased the cover and that if I was stupid enough to purchase the cover, that's my problem and not theirs. It is interesting to compare the HSBC reaction with others reported on this forum where premiums paid before 2005 have been claimed and repaid without a problem. I am contesting the response from HSBC, of course. Anybody had a similar experience with a bank or card issuer?
