age range 18 to 64yrs is a requirement with PPI ,are the same age limits applicable with CPP? I was 68yrs when the transaction occured.

    Check on http://www.cppredressscheme.co.uk
  • I have lost the prepaid envelope which came with the claim forms. Could someone confirm their return postal address and if a normal envelope with first class stamp will be acceptable to them?
    Thanks

Just phone them on their Freephone number. They'll be able to give you definitive answers.

No, PPI covers unemployment and redundancy hence the age limit. You can still have credit/debit cards in retirement.

I have had CPP since 2007 on my Post Office card. I have just contacted CPP who have said that Post Office are not part of the scheme and to contact them for more information and to claim the compensation. Has anyone had similar experience?

It was not compulsory for card issuers to be a part of the scheme; for those that are not, you will need to contact them directly to complain.
  • Hi All,
I'm a bit confused - I've been sent a claim form by CPP, but I have no idea what account this relates to. I thought it was from an old Egg/Barclaycard account (long since paid off), but I've already claimed PPI from them. Is this different to PPI? And is there any way to find out what account I've been paying this on...?

    Thanks

This is nothing to do with PPI.
    I would suggest reading - http://www.cppredressscheme.co.uk/index.html
and then contacting them - http://www.cppredressscheme.co.uk/contact_us.html

I filled in the form and sent it off the same day.

I was made bankrupt in jan 2008. There was no mention of the OR in the CPP letter - will the cheque come to me or go to the OR? is the fact it is over 6 years ago important?

I would suggest phoning and discussing directly with CPP - http://www.cppredressscheme.co.uk/contact_us.html

Yeah, I won't be doing that. I know where it SHOULD go, I'm not going to phone them up and tell them.

Why's that? There's a chance that the compensation might go to your creditors?
