By sales process I just meant a record of the sale itself. I was thinking a phone conversation might show evidence of mis-selling, e.g. emphasising the pre- and post-notification fraud cover, scaring people unduly etc. That's if the tape exists of course.0 -

Hi. I paid about 5 years CPP payments before the 2005 cut off date and roughly 5 years worth after. Will it be best to fill out the claim form that was sent to me for the post 2005 payments or write to the bank regarding the earlier years. Or is it possible to do both? I feel I was mis-sold the policy over the entire period0

You need to do both, if you want to claim for both periods as the scheme only covers 2005 onwards.0 -

Decleration on the CPP form reads
"I agree to release CPP.... from any further liability for any claims I may have against them for the types of mis-selling covered by the redress scheme as long as they comply with the payment terms under this redress scheme..."
Does that not mean that I can't try to claim the pre-2005 money once I've signed this form?0 -

I had the CPP policy from 2001 to 2012 so the payments from different cards. And it was under the illusion that you were covered up to £100,000 and I was led to believe that banks didn't have exactly the same cover for free.
I propose we all do the Data subject access request...

Dear sirs,
Can you please tell me how do I make a "subject data access request" for all the information you hold on me.
And what is the fee for this?
Thank you

Anyone else think this is the right approach? Perhaps Martin Lewis can show us the correct template...0 -

I'm not sure why you think you need to do this? Did you not get the claim form? Have you phoned the help line on the CPP Redress site? They will be able to tell you all about your policy. I think you're trying to over-complicate things.0
