Gtec...I just got through on 08000 834393, after 53 minutes yawn, but they did say that they can send forms out just with your postcode. They're sending them out first class today. She did ask me if I knew what bank I'd taken it out with, I assume they'll still send forms out if you don't know and just use general security questions to check who you are.
Good luck0 -
A total of 1 1/2 hours on the phone so far . I considered hanging up but if I get some redress then my time is well spent.0

Like others I have left it late in the day to claim and am waiting to hear back. I did think about sending the claim by recorded delivery but a lot of people seemed to think you should send it in the provided envelope.
Has anyone claimed recently and how long did they wait? Also, if I phone, will they be able to tell me if they've received my claim? From reading recent posts it seems I would be on hold for a very long time and if I got through and then they said they couldn't confirm either way then I would have wasted my time.
After getting a duplicate form and returning it I found the original one. Would it be worth sending this one by recorded delivery? Just thinking there would be nothing to lose. They're not going to pay me twice (which wouldn't be the purpose) but I would have more chance of getting my money.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Tabitha , you did well getting answered in only 53 minutes.!! Its a good job Ive got things to occupy myself with I'm approaching a tw hour wait.:mad:0

Hi
Would love to know what magic you did to get through to the right people. CPP told me Sainsburys not in the redress scheme and to contact Sainsburys direct. I phone them and they put you through to Halifax /Bank of Scotland claims who deal with PPI not CPP and guess what? They refer you back to CPP redress. Now CPP redress are not CPP but merely the company managing the claims process. They advised me to phone CPP directly on 01904733649 or email them on enquiries@cpp.co.uk. This is my next step.
If you do phone Sainsburys on the number CPP redress give you (01313382995) then it goes to a mail box for someone whose name you can't hear and unsurprisingly the mail box is full (probably 1000s on messages)
I will let you know how I got on.
If others are having the same problem keep the thread going.
Martin, if you and your team read this please help!!0 -

Dilliums , have just tried the CPP number, they say they are inundated and are forwarding calls to the 08000834393 number which of course STILL has a fault.0
