USA should work just like Feel Like Home already works. If you buy a data bundle on a pay as you go SIM, then data can be accessed at the UK price in the 4 new countries too.

    To be 100% confirmed.

As you say, 3's website could be a lot clearer it caught me out before.

Yes it could be but Click on the support info link in original post and your see new countries are included, and benefit from the same things as original countries.

Or go via this : http://www.three.co.uk/Support/Roaming_and_International

Excellent. I'll just buy the 500Mb add-on before I go to Sweden then.

It looks like just doing a top-up before leaving would give me upto 150Mb of free internet while roaming in these countries also.

So... If you are away, say in the USA (PAYG/321 tariff), you make a call within the USA, this will be charged at £1.40/min and if someone calls you from within USA it's 99p/min, if you bought one of the add-ons?

3 has some 3 digit access codes for calling worldwide at pennies per minute. Never tried it, and wonder if it works on a contract SIM and if it works from 3 Like Home countries.

Oh, dear. Clicking on the recent links above, I'm getting:
KANA Knowledge Server is temporarily not responding to requests. Please try again.
Three seem to have some great rates but information can be confusing. I have a 321 SIM as yet unused. I also have a (UK) mobile internet SIM/dongle costing me £8+ a month. Looking at the comments above, it appears that I will be able to use that on my next trip to the US without paying Three's 'normal' (= astonishing) US data rates.

    That would be great.

Make sure you use it in UK for at least 30 days first.

Wonder if anyone has tried this on existing countries since the summer. ATT has a tariff that's only 7p (10c) a minute but that needs another SIM. If the 3 digit access code (424 for USA) works, it would be a great solution at 3p/min.

From what I can see I reckon you would be charged those rates whether you had an Add On or not. The benefit of the Add On is that you can call home (to the UK) for 100 minutes, text the UK (3000) and make use of 500m/b of data for £10.

I can see that the big benefit for most would be getting a 500 m/b allowance for £10, or All you can Eat for £15, for a 30 day period.

There are other add-ons available, but the full list only seems to be available when logged in to My3.

There is a £5 add-on that gives just 500Mb of data. So if you just want data and don't need lots of calls/texts, its half the price of the £10 add-on.
