Three's "Feel At Home" roaming service.

Mentioned this in the Roaming sticky above, but Three's just launched their "Feel At Home" service, which is basically a resumption of their old, discontinued, "Three Like Home" service from a few years ago.

Details and support information.

Looks to be pretty good if you're a regular visited to countries with 3 networks.

Managed to get a couple of contracts cancelled when they withdrew the 3 like home service, a few years back.
Its about time that all networks did this when you roam on to their own networks...I guess historically they've always made too much money from roaming in the past...lets hope that one of the other networks will follow suit..then they'll all want in on it :-)

At first, I was impressed by mobile broadband being included in the offer.
Who can use Feel At Home?

Feel At Home is available to any Three customer - all Pay Monthly phone customers, SIM plans, Pay As You Go, Mobile Broadband and Business customers.
I use mobile broadband with a dongle, paying monthly.

However, Three's descriptions refer to 'phone', so I'm assuming that my dongle use won't be covered.

Have I read that right? Thanks.

There are quite a few mentions of use of allowances

I'm wondering if the 3 pence a minute and penny a megabyte basic pay as you go rates will be usable for those with no add-ons

I was in the Three shop today. First bought a £10 voucher with free 321 SIM for a trip to Italy. Then asked about their data deals e.g. the 1GB data for a month one. It will work with 3g iPads and dongles. But the Feel Like Home deal is definitely excluded I was told. If anyone can prove this is wrong info I'd be delighted.

Feel At Home is our new service that lets you use your UK allowances to call or text the UK and use data in selected countries abroad. This applies to everyone on our network, whatever type of plan or tariff you have.

Why would you listen to anything that shop staff tell you?

Yet another example of retail staff not knowing their job description.

    He is wrong.

Just like the other thread where a three staff member said pay as you go no longer allowed add ons.
