I'm annoyed about it I feel like I want to shout about it, guess I need to calm down and wonder if she is a friend at all.

No, you need to calm down and deal with a a situation that is bothering you, in a mature way.

    1. Stop looking further at her Ebay.
    2. Stop giving her gifts.

    1. I looked once at her eBay and won't again.

    2. I will :-)
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Just out of curiosity, as you inadvertently came across her listing and became angry and upset, how do you think your friend would feel if she inadvertently came across this thread where you tell strangers about her death row boyfriend, extravagant holiday, calling her a c*w etc...?

    Just wondering?

I didn't say anything that wasn't true and it would save me the trouble confronting her.

  • After reading this thread, I'm quite worried about the handmade gifts I've given and am planning to give to my family (I crochet and embroider). What if they are just politely accepting them while actually thinking they're awful?

I'm sorry your friend is short on class, OP.

Short on class because they have sold on unwanted gifts? Or short on class because they possibly dislike homemade items?

Wasn't just home made items, some they collected others useful for travels.

The holiday is one she has every year to visit her death row bf family, the bf she has never met.

No I post them to her via courier or if we meet up then we exchange but I haven't seen her for a while as its usually me making the effort so put my foot down now.

Like I said they are items she collects so would think she likes them. If she didn't like them I would rather she was either honest with me and then gave them to charity but selling them is just a kick in the teeth to me honest.

Your friend goes on holiday every year to visit the family of her boyfriend.
A boyfriend on Death Row that she has never met ?

You need to to make new friends.

The Internet can be a wonderful thing but in the 'olden days' you couldn't 'spy' on people as easily as you can now...

Checking up on what a friend is selling on eBay is a little bit obsessive... Would you follow her to a car boot sale and go through her things?

Then, when you're not happy, instead of just having a quiet chat, you want to raise the subject on Facebook or by text?

Whatever happened to friends just talking?

There are two reasons I keep my e bay username to myself. One is to prevent anyone helpfully 'bidding' on my items to up the price. The second is I don't want anyone to track my every move.
