Friend sold presents on eBay

My 'friend' has sold quite afew things on eBay that I bought her. Things she collects and even hand made items which have taken hours and hours to make. I'm getting more annoyed looking through her feedback as it seems she has sold quite a bit I have given her. She lives with her mum, no kids and has quite a bit of benefits coming in so she isn't hard up! Booking a £2000 holiday further backs that up.
These are things that she likes and collects but even if she didn't like it, I find it rude and ungrateful to do this.
I'm annoyed and hurt and not sure how what to do now. Do I put a status on Facebook implying? Do I text her? Or just pretend I don't know?
This has made me question our friendship if she can do this.

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Wasn't planning on it. So don't confront her?No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Not worth it until she makes a comment on why you have stopped giving her gifts. Them tell her you assumed she wouldn't like anything you got her, as she has sold all your other gifts.
Do if calmly. If throws them.0 -
No, don't confront her. Just don't bother to give her anything else and when she misses the income they generate, she'll probably say words to the effect of how much she liked to receive them.
In reply, all you have to say is that, actually, you felt rather hurt to discover that she had sold the things you gave her, so it's pretty clear she doesn't value them as gifts."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

Buy one of them off her and if she sends it, give it to her saying 'omg, I found another one, really cheap prices so I got it for you, so you now have a pair!Sanctimonious Veggie. GYO-er. Seed Saver. Get in.0

Well you gave them to her as a gift so they are hers to dispose of as she fits.
I am a bit puzzled though in that if you knew she collected items wouldn't that mean you visit her house and see them, so haven't you noticed they are not on display?
Have you considered that another friend/family member has bought her the same item so she has duplicates?

Hah, like it!
OP, I agree that it's quite ungrateful for your friend to sell gifts, but what can you do? Once you've given it to them it's theirs to do what they please.
I would probs just not bother giving them ebayable stuff - next time how about a bottle of wine / box of chocs.0 -
She can't have duplicates of hand made items or everything I bought her for that fact.
She lives quite a way so haven't visited for 8 months so wouldn't notice if they were on display. Making it difficult to send a bottle of wine and she would probably sell the chocolates knowing her, I don't want to buy her anything now she's too ungrateful. No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

It does seem ungrateful, but once you have given them to her, they are hers to do as she wishes with.
I get a lot of cat ornaments as presents - now, much as I love them there are limits to the amount of things I can fit in my house and at some point some of them will have to go. I cannot hold on to everything I ever get given or my house would be bursting at the seams.0 -
Perhaps she thinks you have ghastly taste in gifts so politely thanks you then flogs them?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
