Today I washed OH's USB memory stick .......
Anyone had experience of them drying out OK???
YEP!!!
They usually dry fine.. they are quite sealed units so very little water actually gets in them.. I've washed gameboy games, PS2 memory sticks and an MP3 player as well and all were fine.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon all
Not done anything on the list yet, but as the weather forecast was OK for today and rain for the rest of the week I've :
Stripped and washed my bedding
Done a load of clothes
Just stripped DD's bed and that's on the line now.
Most of the first two loads is dry and put away.
Asda shopping came today and that's all put away. This morning my fridge was the emptiest it's been since I bought it! Better now.
I did some cleaning in the living room yesterday so it's pretty good.
And in between all that I watched Corrie from last night and the last one of Paul Merton in China.0 -

Just finished my lunch break (except for my coffee which I forgot to make  Will have that as I do jobs
) and I'm off into the kitchen to do some baking
Still trying to decide what to make for tea
Oh well, the butter and future hobnobs are calling me
Updated my list and I've basically finished for today just the window (outside though) and the coasters which I'll wash with the washing up (metal ones) once I've finished baking.
Best put the washing thats just finished out first :rotfl:

Having a fun day again with Charlie. Finding it a bit hot for this cleaning malarky, although i have done some, but bathroom and kitchen, and not living room, although i don't suppose it matters.
I've unleashed Charlie in the baby walker again as it helps him sleep later, and stops him throwing up his dinner when he rolls on his belly - see, saving me work cleaning clothes and living room rug. The cats have decided it's safer outside, and i have had to shut the kitchen door cos todays trick it to tip the kitchen bin over enough to reach inside, and as i know i put a broken glass in there, and there will also be lids from cat food tins, i don't think it's a safe thing to play with. What a spoilsport i am!!
He'll probably be asleep about 2:30-3:30,so i'll try and grab a quick lunch, wash up all breakfast and lunch things, plus everything washed up poorly last night or missed completely, and then try and do a bit more marking.
Must wash my hair today. Realised yesterday that i should look a bit nicer for Saturday, so i will be exfoliating, and foot scrubbing, and slathering on cream every night in the vain hope it will make me pass for someone who has time to give a damn about their appearance. :rotfl:
Other than that, will be taking the day as it comes, and trying not to get too hot and sweaty. Think we have quite a few ice pops in the freezer still from when i was pregnant, as i was quite addicted to them.
Anyway, nice to see you all behaving yourselves and attending to your chores, and not making life more stressful for me.
See you all later,
Michelle, x0 -
The surveyor has gone - keeping very much to himself!!!
Thanks to everyone about the memory stick - it actually went - inadvertently - into the washing machine with whites so not really a rinse under the tap job!!! Drying in the sun now - fingers crossed!!!
OK update....

On with tidying my desk ..0 -
TWINK is in trouble *hands on hips wagging finger* those hobnobs are too nice .... I've already eaten 5  I best hide the rest of the 29 I managed to get out the mix :rotfl: Also baked some flapjacks but they caught and are burnt around the edge..will let OH eat those ones as he'll eat almost anything  Washing up from baking is nearly done, just the trays, 1 pan & a bowl but the drainer is full.
Second load of washing is in the machine (including the top I wore for baking...you would think I was big/old enough not to get in a mess) and I've thrown OH's coat in before I took itself for a walk , half the original load is dry and in with the rest still on the line. So far I have 3 teatowels to iron but I know there are tops in todays wash. I've "washed" the sheet, I put it on a daily wash with nothing in (30 mins 30degreesC) and I'll wash it in with the rest of the white wash once DD has come in as no doubt she'll be filthy again...must remember to check whether she is actually a boy :rotfl::rotfl:
Right, plan for the rest of the night....- Coffee
- Hide biscuits & flapjacks before I eat them all
- Collect DD From school
- Watch springwatch trackers with DD
- Listen to DD read (No more Mr Men books  :j:dance: ) a Postman Pat book.... will need to break it down though
- Put washing out some point after bringing DD home..
- Put more washing in
- Make tea & serve
- Wash up
- Iron
- Sewing repair pile to be tackled while watching CSI, thank goodness it's only buttons to be sewn back on :rotfl:
- Collapse in bed.

Hello. Thanks for the hugs and messages guys, it really means a lot. DH came in not long after I went to bed, think hes got the cold shoulder message, hes just text me saying he'll take me out on Sat, I texted him back asking if I could go and him stay home:p
Decided to get out today so went to the big local town and did some shopping, brought DS a paddling pool and some of those ball things from Early Learning for him to play in - just need to nice weather back. Went around the local 'flea market' for the first time, there was a lot of rubbish but some really good stuff too, cheap plants, one bloke was selling brand new buggies, walkers and the like and got DS a few bits from someone who sells Next 'seconds' but they are all prefect and ideal from him as hes growing so fast. Came home and sorted dogs and then I was brave and went to Baby Play for an hour, for me not cos DH moaned, but it was a bit rubbish and some of the women were a bit  . Oh well, have seen what I've not been missing. Just got back and feed wee man who just thrown up all over both of us which is really unlike him so not sure if hes coming down with something. So washer now on as I was covered:eek: Just put him down for a nap and hes laughing away at something or someone:eek: - things are going 'bump in the night here'

If they look a bit like weevils they are probably ladybird larvae - yeah they look nothing like them and are much bigger - but trust me - that is what they are! When they turn into ladybirds they will help with your bug problem.
Just mooching cos am fed up of my desk .....0
