Morning everyone! I had a great first day yesterday so feeling good this morning apart from lack of sleep due to the thunderstorm last night!

I managed 10 of my 27 flings but I cajoled DD, DS and DH into picking up (and putting away) 12 things each before they were allowed pudding last night so I guess our household did 46 altogether.

Off to make my tea loaf now - I found some old raisins in the cupboard yesterday and have been soaking them overnight.

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
[STRIKE]Dusting[/STRIKE] and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)
    Level 2
    Vacuum floor and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Clean window
[STRIKE]Clean TV[/STRIKE], other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
    [STRIKE]Tidy shoes, coats and bags[/STRIKE]
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Extra Mission:
As yesterday, pick one or more of the following tasks –

    * Take a duster and wipe around the tops of your door frames – as many as you can manage in 5 minutes (it’s shocking how dusty it gets.)
    * Use a wire coat hanger and a duster to get down behind the radiator and get them bits you never normally reach
    * Dust a collection – the tops of books on a shelve or CDs/DVDs/videos
    * [STRIKE]Wash your coasters (this one definitely for me as one stuck to my glass last night and then fell off braking a glass – doh)[/STRIKE] - no coasters
    * [STRIKE]Wipe the leaves of your plants.[/STRIKE] no plants as children tried to eat them when they were babies!

    More later ...

    Update at 3.15pm

I just can't seem to get going today somehow and children are due home from school any minute - must be due to the poor night's sleep.

    On the positive side:
have made a tea loaf and some banana bread
done a bit of paid work
kept kitchen tidy after yesterday's good work (normally it's a tip)
put away all of yesterday's washing
tidied away the games cupboard and put 6 items in a charity bag

    On the negative side:
not got much done from my list

    Back to positive:
Children and DH will have to "earn" pudding again tonight!
    Tomorrow is a new day!

Hugs to those who feel down today,

    Mamashaz

    Hiya
I'm working this morning and then have a visit to the dentist, yuk! Free this afternoon so going to do today's list very slowly. I thought it would cool down today but it's still quite muggy so I'll just take my time. Our cat is sat right in front of the big fan and looks so funny as her whiskers and fur are being blown everywhere. Bless her! I've never seen an animal get so close, she's millimetres away lol!

    hallo.gifMorning Flyladies

I'm seem to be on my way to getting alot of todays list done before I disappear to w**k at lunchtime.

I have had to sit down for a moment though as I've made myself very dizzy. I've just been wiping the tops of all the doorframes in the house and because I wiped one side then spun around to do the other side on each door I feel quite icky now!sick3qx.gif It was quite good fun though - I giggled my way around and if anyone had been watching they'd have thought me a complete lunatic. Anthea can bring her white glove around here anytime!

    So today,

I haven't done it myself, but apparently it will be fine once it's dried out (Thats advice coming from my OH who is an IT technician) ;):rotfl: One teacher he knows regularly washes his memory stick )

Well I'm back from Asda - having to have a break as I look and feel like I've just taken part in the world strongest man contest - I think I bought too much :o But in theory apart from milk, cheese (which I have to buy weekly no matter what size block I buy :o
) bread & more fresh fruit that should be it until ...erm....July I hope:eek: Going to sneak SP orange/lemon cordial into the almost empty Asda brand ones and tell OH/DD that I bought the small bottles but wanted them for the freezer so topped the big bottles in the cupboard up instead;) Also bought 4 blocks of butter to make flapjacks & hobnobs (also bought bicarb as I only have household stuff) for lunches, eggs (as we have 2 left  ) and some tuna which I'm going to hide. I am longing for the day I can have a shelf unit under the stairs as a "larder" overflow (covered of course with a curtain) to stash stuff! Maybe then I might be able to keep to just £160 a month :mad:

    Right, flying wise....

    A proper catch up now

Michelle - Thanks once again for the lists and for keeping us on track! I hope we are well behaved for you with everything thats going on for you this week
tracyg - Big hug to you, Im sure you are fantastic mum and you cope so well on your own. We are all here for when you rant and let off steam - it feels so much better when you do. And if OH thinks you LO should be doing more tell him to do it!
mamashaz - huge pat on the back for doing so well on the first day. I dont think i ever did!
boston_uk - A curiosity!! It should be ok (the geek stick that is!) they are designed to withstand a lot. Dry it out slowly and see if you can put it with some of that silicate stuff you get in handbags etc to get it really really dry before trying it. I think the gadget show tried to destroy one and drowning it didnt work.
AnW'sMum - can i borrow the Apprentice after you, i missed it last week
    Zed42 - welcome back!!!
Mrs Wossinge - hang in there, it only gets better - promise!!
Shirley - are you feeling better?
lemanie - you are just too keen
LJD1 - I hope your dad gets better soon, the heat isnt good when your trying to get better.

Well im out tonight. Got 20mins from getting home to being out the door again to Oxford. I will try and have a very quick fly around the lounge when i get back. Im going to attempt a bin bag challenge too after i pulled a load of stuff out last week and havent known what to do with it - i dont know what half of the stuff is so its going!!

    Hugs to everyone
    See you later

    Debt-free and Proud!
Hi, everyone - lunchtime soon comes round!

aimeelister - don't think I can keep up this pace forever, started to feel like you do when been to gym and hands are a mess, really, really hoping it gets easier/quicker like everyone promises.

Also, you all keep scotching my dieting attempts with recipes - and now it's hobnobs, I just have to bake some. Always have lots of porridge oats in as it is one of the strange assortment of samples DH brings home from work (bird seed, oats, oven chips, crisps, gravy mix and I could have any amount of wheat, rapeseed, vetch etc that I wanted but other than milling own flour or making wheat bags to give as pressies am at a loss what to do with them). Trouble is it is a very random supply - weetabix week was the best. :rotfl:

    Anyway, must fly.
