so did I but sadly nothing was HG. What are we having tomorrow?:D0 -
Tracyg -- huge hugs -- babies are the best and worst things in the whole world. Being on your own with a baby who won't be comforted is truly cr*p and makes you feel dreadful. But tomorrow you'll be the best mummy in the world again (as no doubt you are) and it will all be worthwhile.0

Well i'm shattered and the house is tidy (ish). Spent the morning trying to buy a fan for my dad as he's not very well and the heat is making him worse. In case anyone is after one our b&q is selling 16 inch ones on a stand for £14.98 - bargain! Found out this afternoon that I need to into hospital in two weeks so spent rest of afternoon changing clients and trying to sort child care for my two (picking up from school etc) as I won't be out of the house for a week. Very lucky that lots of friends are being very helpful! So off for an early night now. Catch up soon xxJanuary budget

Evening everyone - just back from work and catching up on what you've all been up to today. Quite alot from the amount I've had to read
Grannynise - This is one I use. In fact that's what we had for dinner this evening though I did sling all the ingredients in the SC at lunchtime before I left for w**k rather than following the method in this recipe.

This morning she was a little shy and sleepy but this evening she kept coming up to me for attention. I don't think I'll get away with puppy-napping her though.
tracygI can remember this really well. My littlest one is 2.5yrs and was poorly for the first 18mths so screamed alot, it sounded like he had colic. When you're by yourself it feels so overwhelming but I'm living proof that you stay sane (sort of) and you won't always feel like this.
Right, I'm off now, it was really busy at w**k today so I need sleep"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -

Just a quick one from me to say thank you very much for hugs! Its so kind that people care. I think its just one of those days, everything is just getting to me. I feel like a single parent most of the time and its hard, I try and just get along with it but sometimes I just get so fed up with DH.But tomorrow you'll be the best mummy in the world again (as no
doubt you are) and it will all be worthwhile.
I never feel like I've been a good enough Mummy but thank you. Just never feel I do enough with him, DH has moaned that I didn't take him to a new playgroup today, I go to two a week but he doesn't think its enough but it hard walking in somewhere when you don't know anyone and they all know each other.
I've just had a cry and my Bassett came and found me and gave me the biggest love, hes so sensitive.
LJD1 Sorry to hear your going into hospital, hope your ok and glad your getting things sorted
So sorry guys for moaning and whinging, really just came on here to thank you for your hugs, think I'm off to bed xxLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Evening all. Been keeping up whilst at work in the spare few secs. Will do a proper post tomorrow to say hi properly but welcome newbies and hugs to everyone. Thanks Michelle, love the idea of an extra task. Will get my thinking brain on.

[STRIKE]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky[/STRIKE]I cant get it out so have wiped it.
[STRIKE]Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week[/STRIKE]Still not used it! The microwave oven is just so much more cheaper.
Extra Mission:
Choose one or more of:
* Defrost freezer
* [STRIKE]Wipe the outside of all your small appliances (kettle, toaster etc)[/STRIKE]
* Pull other appliances out and clean underneath them
* [STRIKE]Take things off a shelve (cupboard or storage shelf) so you can wipe the shelve and anything else that needs it[/STRIKE]
For tomorrow:
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1

Level 2
Vacuum floor and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean window
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Level 3
Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
Extra Mission:
As yesterday, pick one or more of the following tasks –
* Take a duster and wipe around the tops of your door frames – as many as you can manage in 5 minutes (it’s shocking how dusty it gets.)
* Use a wire coat hanger and a duster to get down behind the radiator and get them bits you never normally reach
* Dust a collection – the tops of books on a shelve or CDs/DVDs/videos
* Wash your coasters (this one definitely for me as one stuck to my glass last night and then fell off braking a glass – doh)
* Wipe the leaves of your plants.
Right off to give the kitchen a clean. See you tomorrow.0
