Hi folks.:D
In the absence of lil-me and Moggins for one week only i will be the one co-ordinating the flylady thread. It will be basically the same as usual, but i thought i would spice things up by changing the declutter mission to an extra task. If you don't like what i suggest for it, please feel free to leave it out altogether and carry on as usual, or make up an extra task of your own. Let me know if you don't like the idea, or if you have any challenges you think we should tackle this week.

Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week when it comes to housework, or just the motivation to do the dreaded housework tasks you have to do, come and join us, hopefully make it a little easier. You never know, you might start to enjoy it!
Following requests to start things steadier for new members who did not realise the tasks list wasn’t a must do, just an encouragement. There will now be level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being very basic it has been requested that this is just one task per day, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. If you want to do level 2 you add the tasks on level 1 with the level 2 tasks, if you want to do level 3 you add the tasks on, easy peasy. Choose a level to aim for but be realistic, if you’ve got a busy day on or are just starting etc aim for level one, if you get higher then great, if not then not to worry its only suggestions. Every room comes back around next week. Trust me some days I'll only be doing level one myself.
THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.
Also adding a declutter mission each day. Another one where it’s up to you if you want to do it or if you need to. This follows requests from members who are looking to declutter. Fling boogies, hotspot clearing, cupboard sorts, drawer sorts etc will all be on this list. Any problems with this of any suggestions do please let me know.
A few of the basics before we start the week:
Hotspots are any areas which if one thing gets put there loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc
Nighttime routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
27 Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and whizz around the house finding 27 items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.
swish and swipe means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis
[/quote]
And so the fun starts. Please feel free to jumpin where you are and join us

Thanks for the new list Michelle.
Think my extra challenge will be clearing something of a shelf, lots to chose from!
The defrost the freezer one I need to do but my dad also wants to do his and I'm waiting for him to bring his things over for me to store whilst his is in defrosting mode and then it'll be my turn.
Decided that I need to really try and get back intot the swing of things as last week I was a bit wishy washy with it all.
I'm going to try and make a list and work from that and then turn on the computer and post once all done so as not to get sidetracked. That's the theory.:rotfl:
Good weekend here. Went to a jumble sale yesterday morning and bought a dress and 2 tops for me and a plant pot, a top and 2 cushion covers for my mum and 2 tops for my sister all for the grand total of £1.80. Then went to a local summer fete as my sister had a craft stall there and my dad bought me an early birthday present of some lovely hand made beaded necklaces.
Today we went to the BBC Springwatch event on the Common and had a lovely time, took a picnic lunch and spent nearly 4 hours up there.
Back home we did more work in the garden and I've even managed to tackle some of the ironing. Madness in this heat!
Going to tuck DS into bed and then make lunch for tomorrow.
Have a good evening everyone....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

You are definately mad in this heat. I spent 10 mins in the garden around midday and had to go back inside. I can't handle the heat very well, hence why I decided going to the common would be a very bad idea. Glad you had a good time though.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -

I could cheat and say i'll defrost the freezer only it broke last week so is already defrosted so I promice I'll choose another challenge instead. Hope we all have a great week xxJanuary budget

Evening everyone
Morning Denise
Michelle
I'm back on board this week - I seem to have got lost last week. I was a little side tracked by money problems but I guess alot of you understand that one. Dh and I had a serious chat about selling our house and looking for something smaller - I started that line of discussion to try to make dh realise how seriously I was worried about our finances. Nothing is resolved but then I don't see how it can be atm......we'll see.....
I was following the lists and chat (Pigpen - you and your brood looked wonderful in the piccie) but nothing actually was done properly. It was a bit of a s&s week, all the daily stuff was done but not much else.
So, here we go........... lets see if I can start flying again"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0
