7.26am paddle wearily into bedroom to find DS2 standing on dressing table with the latest pot of moisturiser in one hand and the contents of latest pot fairly equally divided between nether regions (what nappy?), mirror, window and tapestry-covered stool.

Well at least he'll have the most beautiful moisturized, de-wrinkled, blemish free bottom in the world. Just like a baby's bottom is supposed to be. And you'll just have to use his baby wipes on your face. Good to have you back, HAHWMB.

Oh Michelle --- I’ll bet you didn’t know if to laugh or to cry! Good luck for tomorrow, I hope it’s all a lot more straightforward than the wedding was.

Pigpen, you whinge all you want. Hope you're better soon.

This week didn't happen for me - sorry Michelle: I've just seen all your lovely extras and I so wish I'd been able to play.
It all went horribly wrong on Monday morning and didn't get much better until today...
6.30am DH leaves for work following badly-timed argument the previous evening about lack of you-know-what at bed-time.
7.00am breakfast tidied up, leap into shower while DS1&2 watch CBeebies
7.09am start to feel slightly more human and up to negotiating shampoo bottle.
7.10am hear wailing, leap out of shower to find DS2 standing on computer desk looking as though he is about to leap the 18ft over the bannister down to the concrete floor below, stark b-naked (NOT as I left him!)
7.11am notice very liquid steaming poo on DS2's leg, eye follows down to foot (extended so Mummy can take a closer look), also covered with same and then to keyboard which is positively swimming with the stuff - as is all the paperwork i'd left out, and the chair and the carpet beneath.
7.11-and-a-fraction-of-a-second-am remove small child, clean him up, staple nappy to backside, gouge out and mop up poo.
7.25am dive back into shower - water now run cold, but need to rinse hair of shampoo and disinfect rest of self....
7.26am paddle wearily into bedroom to find DS2 standing on dressing table with the latest pot of moisturiser in one hand and the contents of latest pot fairly equally divided between nether regions (what nappy?), mirror, window and tapestry-covered stool.
I'd wail and shriek and cry - but I just cannot muster up the energy...
Anyway - tomorrow is a NEW day and NEW week and I have done my meal plan and I am PREPARED.
    Bring it on...
Oh and Grannynise - I LOVE you. Thank you!

Oh NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! What a cheeky monkey!!  I can see it all in my head with your colourful description, Has the poo smell disappeared yet? and has your keyboard survived??? Hope you have made up with OH..

I really, really feel for you,, (but had to laugh a little bit, sorry)

Haven't been flying so well lately, but ready to go this week again, I will have an organised house, I will have an organised house, I will have an organised house....

    hugs for everyone..
  • Has the poo smell disappeared yet?
I think so - but I'm rather paranoid that I may just have grown used to it.... you know: in the same way as lil-me's DP doesn't smell the lavendar any more...
    and has your keyboard survived???
I think so - but it may be growing some very nasty cultures...
Hope you have made up with OH..
Yes - but not quite as well as he was hoping!!!!Haven't been flying so well lately, but ready to go this week again, I will have an organised house, I will have an organised house, I will have an organised house....
    Oh ME TOO!
    Is it home time yet?
