End of the week at last, cleaned bathroom and toilet, dried up and cleaned sink. No washing today.
Finished dd3's bedroom.
Did dd2's lessons.

Grannywise (as you will now be called coz i think your wise!!) another hug for you.

Right plan of campaign for this weekend.

Tomorrow i need to:
Mow lawn - guinea pig has done a good job so far, but he doesnt like daisys
Clean the garden furniture - so people dont get dirty bums sitting down!!
Sort out the food -
Clean the kitchen after with a quick S&S
Hoover downstairs
Then have shower and clean the bathroom with a quick S&S.

Then i will be prepared for people.

Going to see what the weather is like for tomorrow later and then see what im going to do about food!!! Was thinking of doing a BBQ anyway as i can always cook things in the oven and with a load of salads and things it will always go down well!

I have now made a start and am just about to strip the beds.

Grannynise - good idea, I have to do something as I have taken to making him strip when he comes in before he is allowed to sit down (he is a printer) as I am sick of the mess on the furniture! He is worse than my 2 yr old DS!:rolleyes:

Hi all

Not doing so well this week. Got going on the meal planning thing but FLYing started ok and then drifted into non existence.

Unfortunately, we're off on hols on Sunday so need to get sorted out and have been washing clothes ALL day (there's only 2.5 of us - how can this be?). Plus we have PIL visiting tomorrow evening.

I'm stressed. V stressed.

Am now going into crisis mode. Some places aren't too bad (living room for example, FLYing is most evident in there!!) but others, like the spare room where they'll be staying are a nightmare...... I keep skipping that room because no one uses it daily

My head is busting. I'm sure it's because I'm getting myself too worked up about everything i need to do in the next 24 hours.

Hope everyone is looking forward to their weekend.

Grannynise - you have my total sympathies. What a horrible part of your job. I'm not jealous.... Hugs for you.

Michelle - enjoy your sister's wedding. Is she one of the WAG's getting wed this weekend then?

Hi Tartan Mum,

I know just how you feel! Just try and remember they are coming to see you, not do an inspection!

Unless it was my MIL of course. When I was teaching, she turned up uninvited about three days before the end of the summer term, surveyed the complete tip that was my flat, and said very sweetly ' Did you do this all by yourself, or did you have help??'

Have a cup of tea, write a list of the most urgent things, and just do them - mine would include flinging everything on the floor into the understairs cupboard, opening all the windows, whizzing the vacuum around, and maybe making some quick scones.

Hello all,
I decided on Tuesday to take Wednesday and Thursday off work 'cos I was fed up so I spent 2 days with one of my friends, putting the world to rights and boozing. So I haven't done any flying but then I haven't created any mess either! I might have a S&S this evening but I'll write this week off as a lousy week.
Its rained solidly for 4 days and frankly I want a refund.

I've had a catch up on the posts and send hugs and positive (as positive as I can be just now) vibes and welcomes and get well soons in various measure.

Tomorrow is going to be written off too. My oldest friend is leaving her OH - she only told him on Monday after sorting out a flat to rent - and I'm helping her pack and move. I think she's got one other person to help with heavy furniture but we're on our own. Oh hell!

I'm going to unpack my bags and have a little tidy up and quite probably an early night cuddling the moggies in my own (unchanged since last week) bed.
