Seperated into stuff in red must get done tomorrow. Stuff in blue is desirable. I might collapse next week at this rate. I've only just stopped again. I can't remember the last evening off i had to chill out.

    Oh well!
    Michelle, x

Off for a bath soon, as i have to eb at my mums which is a 20minute drive away for about 6am tomorrow morning  I'm shattered now so God only knows how tired i'll be then
  • evening all. Plasterer turned up today but the ceiling in both the dining room and the lounge are competely shot so they are going to need boarding. Well the dining room definately, the lounge maybe not, might be able to do a repair job with that one. The dining room walls are fantastic, looks the best it's ever looked in there, though the whole of downstairs smells of plaster *yuck*

I think between now and a week monday I'm not really going to do much flying as I'm intending to really get stuck into the DIY. Though I will do the dailies, if only so the place doesn't become a total bomb site. With half the contents of the lounge in the kitchen and some other bits elsewhere, it's not really going to be that easy to fly.

    Plan for the weekend
    [STRIKE]Finish off the bath panel[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Seal bath and sink[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Fit towel and toilet roll holder in bathroom[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean tile grouting[/STRIKE]
Get new fan and fit - screwfix
    [STRIKE]Library[/STRIKE]
    Washing - 1st lot in
    [STRIKE]Clear floordrobe[/STRIKE]
    Deal with lounge ceiling
    [STRIKE]Get lining paper[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Help a mate fit their laminate floor[/STRIKE]

    Good evening everyone,

Didnt get as much done today as i had hoped - spent most of the day doing things with the LOs, so not completely wasted!!!!

Did clean the bathroom and toilets, swished the kitchen - and cleaned under the kitchen table!!!!

The house is tidy, and tomorrow afternoon im planning on getting upstairs sorted, as we have a weekend where we have nothing planned (other than DSs football tomorrow afternoon, 12pm) so hoping to get more done then. Im also hoping the weather will be better so i can get all the beds stripped, washed and dry,

Hope you all have a great evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Can I be excused for a few days as I have raging tonsilitis and an ear infection?? PLEASE???

I've spent the best part of 3 days laid on the sofa and hubby even took today off work to look after the girls (the 4 year old was off as nursery toilets were flooded as the sewage system backed up under the volume of rainwater)

Well i'm up, not very awake, and have managed to creep downstairs without waking anyone up.Just eating some muesli and having a cuppa to get me through the day, and then i'll be off for hair/make up done at my mum's. No rain at the minute, but still keep your fingers crossed for me. Hope the roads are a bit less flooded and safer too!
    Have a good one everone.

Why not?? Being upside down is such good fun! :rotfl:

    Morning Flypeople,

Pigpen, there's a lot of that about and you have my sympathy. Ear infections are just the worst thing. Look after yourself or better still have someone do it for you.
Michelle, hope your early start pays off, have a grand day.Don't peak too soon!
Shirleypark, get stuck in to the DIY, sounds like things are coming together. Stay happy.
 to upside-down Denise and otherway-up Denise.. and any body else called Denise for that matter :rotfl:

I'm off to Cumbria in half an hour to help my friend move, I spoke to her last night and apart from the big stuff she seems to have done lots of shifting and boxing up so it's not going to be as bad as I thought. My mum lives not far from her and if I ask nicely she might pop down with refreshments.

Hope the rain lets up where you are and the metaphorical clouds shift for a while.

Hope the wedding goes well Michelle

It's Saturday so I haven't done much. One load of washing done and spread round upstairs. Rain/sun/rain here.

Just had pasty and jacket potato and baked beans here. Easy and tasty.

    Bored.
