I complained to Ebay about the feedback AND the abusive and threatening emails she sent to me - they still did nothing!

Quite often the case with ebay. Did you report her to her ISP?

I have another abusive, threatening Seller now!

She has sent 7 emails through the night - Seller in US.

I opened a dispute because item not received.

I have 100% feedback on that account, with no disputes, nothing.

Here are three of the gems -

Why would you open a paypal dispute and escalate it ? I have a funny feeling that you have done this before! You know I emailed you regarding this, I will forward my emails that I sent you to both ebay & paypal, keeping an item & filing a false chargeback to keep both item & money is FRAUD, believe me when I say I will file charges against you. I already emailed you 2X, I do not scam anyone out of anything, I am a trusthworhty seller, whom has sold over 1,000 items, ask yourself why would i want to scam you out of a pitiful $30, if you are that hard up for money, why bid? My feelings are that you are used to doing this thru the system, that's why sellers do not want to ship internationaly anymore. I have receipt for proof that will be faxed to Paypal, don't you know when you open disputes more than twice they are keeping you under there eye for fraud?! Well, I will fax my powerseller rep & show paypal my proof, you need to learn to be patient when receiving items International, buy my guess is you file & keep item & I think YOU are the scammer!

    ********************

You file with paypal to get refund and keep item is FRAUD, it can get you not only kicked off ebay, but is just PLAIN wrong! I, along with other sellers will file a suit against you, you should not be buying on ebay! You are very dishonest, I have been forthcoming and honest, you are the scammer, and I will do whatever it takes to show other sellers that you are commiting fraud, I have been contacted by over 3 sellers that you have done this in the past, I will call Paypal right now to inform them.

    **********************

I will also phone you because we need to communicate about this transation, it is UNETHICAL to keep item & get refund you are stealing, and commiting fraud, my brother is a lawyer and again, we will be filing charges against you for fraud.

What do you think about her then??

    The last email -

Why have you not contacted me back? I wanted to mention saying that you did not receive an item mailed thru United States Postal Service, and lying that is also against the law. I will file with the USPS because I paid them to deliver the item, and if you have or will receive the item, and lied that is fraud, and I will file with the Attorney General. If you do not close the dispute, you leave me no choice but to warn other sellers, whom after seeing your feedback that you file with paypal & keep items, no one will want to sell to you, why would they when you scam sellers out of product & money? My feedback grows everyday, and if you leave me a negative it will be on second page within a day or two, Sellers will see that you have filed with paypal over & over and kept items, that is stealing & is very wrong!

I didn't contact her back because all of the emails were sent around 3am UK time!

I have put in a complaint to Ebay, have sent the emails to Paypal.

    Am I over-reacting to this?

The mails are angry and accusatory, but not exactly offensive or threatening.

Clearly you have some issues to resolve between you - she gives every impression of believing herself to have been wronged. I take it the multiple mails and asking why you haven't replied is because it hasn't occurred to her you're in another time zone.

Two people who think they're in the right = deadlock.

IMO you should ignore the mails and let the dispute run its course.

Actually, the last message is a strong example of feedback blackmail and you should report her specifically for that.

She is offensive and threatening - she is threatening legal action!

Have now reported the abusive mail to yahoo -her email originator.

She has left 7 offensive messages on my voicemail too. It will have cost her a lot of money - it is my mobile number that is on ebay!

Ok will do the email feedback too

Threatening legal action is her prerogative.

Threatening to knock your block off, sure, that would be reportable.

  • Have reported the feedback violation.

Actually abusive emails are not allowed either.

I am not putting up with this from anybody and certainly not someone in the US who is out to make money out of not sending an item, $30 + shipping or not.

    Yes.

You're not being threatened with anything.

There's nothing wrong with that, plenty of people and organisations do it everyday.

You'd have a reason to complain if you were being threatened with physical harm or were being sworn at.

I haven't seen any yet. Have they called you obscene names? Have they threatened you with anything that isn't their legal right to do?

The messages in the OP are what I would call abusive.

Let paypal do their thing and ignore the silly ranting seller. Ebay may take action on the feedback blackmail but the rest of it is mild in comparison to some I've seen.

Actually, in the emails I didn't post here, she did swear at me.
