By allowing customers to dial 077xx #s for free despite what the t&cs say the contract has been varied and affirmed by orange allowing the same to continue. To prove this in court, evidence is needed to show that orange knew what these numebers were being used for or one has to persuade a judge that it is so obvious they knew thet the judge should take judicial notice of it ........... in other words terminate your contracts and if they don't let you sue them for the sake of it

    boycott-orange.co.uk anyone?

when orange did this last year they had a gap of some days and people had to complain in writing to get credits. I have no idea why they have all of a sudden done it again (haven't they learned?) and no doubt many will get charged for today's usage.

    EXECUTIVE OFFICE

Anecdotal evidence suggests that if you complain to the Executive Office they get on the case pretty quickly and sort everything out for you.....

    Orange Executive Office
    executive.office@orange.co.uk
    50 George Street
    LONDON
    W1U 7DZ
    020 7984 1886

Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director

Not sure if it will do any good going this high as it will jest get shifted downwards but anyway, for the sake of completeness here we go...

The Orange CEO & MD was Hans Snook - hans.snook@orange.co.uk
His email now seems seems to be read by his PA Jane Henderson, and then passed on to Ian Parker, Group Director of Customer Relations for a formal reply. His direct office number is 020 7984 1888 and has an answerphone. Mr Snook has recently stepped back from the position of CEO of Orange in order to pursue other interests. His successor is Jean-Francois Pontal whose contact e-mail is as follows: jean-francois.pontal@orange.co.uk

    01325 395000 switchboard
01454 624600 switchboard number for Orange in Bristol.

    COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT

Finally, the address you need if you want to make a complaint in writing (they won't do it by phone) is:

    Correspondence Department
    PO Box 10
    Patchway
    Bristol
    BS32 4BQ

    Good luck...... you'll need it!

i think you all definately have a case....worth looking if u have any cashbacks tho as it may be worth sticking with it like me.

i got my wife a basic nokia phone ,,,(in effect) line rental 99p for 12 mths. In my 6th month so not worth me doing it.

if you got a high end phone and are paying a lot per month..then this is for you!

I have had this problem with THREE and got out of my contract,,,you basic front line chimp wont generally help...just need to find the right person...generally exec office have a special customer service who know 'everything' (the only exception I have found to be are e2save (CPW))

go for it guys,,,, if i can assist please ask

PS oh yeah...did u like Oranges cheek.!!?? I got a follow up text saying they now do good deals on international calls!! haha

Just been talking to Orange CS and get confirmation about updated T&C which affects ALL customers regardless when you have signed the contract.
They were not able to explain about cancellation of the contract (if anyone consider that and still have number of months on the contract left) and I was asked to call back on Monday until when they should have more information.

Is the key factor here whenOrange notified you or just the fact they've made changes? I got a text ages ago about 07744 numbers but as i wasn't using them at the time I didn't take any notice. Does that mean I now can't complain/take action?
