Then I would agree that you do have an issue.......

And you felt the need to tell me so?

How dare you all presume to analyse me. Your views (and those of others) about me as a person are unasked for and unwanted.

This thread is about finding suitable clothing.

Your rudeness is astounding under the circumstances.

I wish I lived near you, as I have a wardrobe of clothes that might suit and you would be welcome to to anything you liked if it fitted, I have a sewing machine and would love to make you something you would enjoy wearing.

    You are lovely. I've pm'd you. :)

Wait, why is everyone suddenly jumping on the lifestyle brigade? I haven't seen anything that might point towards her having issues, she's just trying to dress for her shape. I didn't realise everyone was an expert on OP.

I would worry about dressing for a wedding too, especially since there's LOTS of photos at the event and you don't want to be the dumpy one making no effort in someone's pictures that will last a possible life time.

Latest update in the ongoing saga..... :D

I think I might have found something. :D

I found a dress tucked away on a sale rail in Monsoon. There was only one like it and it was hanging in amongst tops and trousers and could hardly be seen. The colour caught my eye so I pulled it out and it was my size.

It's not the most weddingy thing I've ever seen but it's definitely fancier than normal day clothes so I think it will do. It's in a colour that suits me (darkish back ground with lighter small pattern....it's not black), a shape that doesn't emphasise things and it was also half price.

    At last. Happy days. :D

    I need shoes now. :rotfl:

Well done OP, it obviously hunted you down and found you :)

My brother-in-law's wedding is next year and I'm already bricking it. I will be in the same position soon!

Best of it is, the style is different from pretty much everything else there (other dresses in this size in this shop wouldn't go near me so it's a blessing it was this particular style which was loose and unfitted, which was there.

I think the apt phrase here is... I got lucky. :D

I wish you luck in advance, lol.
