  • Did you see that programme on TV recently where employees of the dating websites set up bogus profiles to entice new members to sign up and pay? They get dozens of contacts when they first register but as soon as they hand over their money, nothing, ziltch, nada.

If you don't hear from your "date" he could be one of those.

I saw that too but if the OP has the guys mobile number I guess he would be a genuine dating site user.

Another vote here for a quick light hearted text to check if Sunday is still on.

Hope he says yes, and you have a good time.

I agree, just a "1pm still OK for you tomorrow?" kind of text doesn't sound clingy at all.

Just say 'Are you still on for tomorrow? I've got the church booked and I'm looking at dresses next week. Love you x'.

If you've got his mobile number, ring him! If you've spoken to him on the phone before he won't mind, if you haven't perhaps it's time you did.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • Thanks everyone - think I'm going to go with the still on for tomorrow approach - I'll let you know if it's on or if I'm rejected!! Think I may leave it till a bit later - after wine o'clock. Dutch courage

Nothing wrong with a quick text to confirm arrangements when planning to meet up with someone. I hope you get the response you want and that it goes really well when you meet each other tomorrow.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

I wouldn't leave it too late or he might be thinking the same and make other plans.
  • No harm in texting, saves all the maybe he does maybe he doesn't want to meet.

If he did he would have.made sure she is in no doubt. So preferable to go straight with anotherone that does :D
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.
