If you do not want to compete with Romanians for jobs - get your act together and get a better job yourself.
So you do not mind foreign doctors/nurses (NHS would be dead if not for them - I worked over 10 years in NHS so know this fact very well) but you do mind foreign road sweepers etc?0 -
dont presume to know anything about me or my qualifications, or about why i do the jobs i do
what on earth makes you think i despise anyone?
Clear to see from your posts I am really sorry to say.
Night night and really hope you have a good think about where to go/how to get there in life. All the best.0 -

" If you get a new job and then they offer you more £ "
seemed to suggest someone was offering more
Seriously to bale of this now you should count yourself lucky you have a job regardless of pay rise or no pay rise as the case may be. No one can really love a job that much if the lack of a pay rise is making you post on here about it.We’ve had to remove your signature. if i join a union and im the only person in my company in that union, how would that make any difference?
Initially you may be the first, but with support from your branch or regional organiser you would recruit your colleagues, gain recognition and negotiate with the employer for a pay increase. Of course this will take some time, which is why I would always recommend joining a union from day 1.0 -
You can not do any collective bargaining when all staff are on different salaries, different benefits and different everything even if they do the same job. If one person say in a team of ten gets no pay rise how will that work in their favour? Collectively no one will give a !!!!!
Of course you can. You could negotiate for a percentage rise on all pay points.0
